You can only have a couple waffles at a time in the toaster, so this option isnโ€™t ideal for big groups. Basically, the only con is how fast the toaster works. If youโ€™re not careful, you can end up with burnt waffles and have to start over!

Don't get ahead of yourselves and gobble the potato waffle right away though as you might suffer the dreaded mouth burn. I cannot imagine the sandwich bread taste is as light as the sandwich bread nor as sweet as some waffle batters. Really though, the recipe is what it is- nobody claimed it was airy light sandwich bread waffles. It did give me an idea though- -sandwich bread grilled cheese waffles sound pretty good with some tomato basil soup! A third exclaimed: "Another thing I have learned today is that you can toast your Waffles in a TOASTER. Birds Eye did some rigorous testing. Wow, new work lunch option success." Reheating in the oven will get your waffles close to their original texture and taste, almost like theyโ€™re freshly made.If they need a little extra time, keep heating in 30 second intervals until itโ€™s toasted to your liking! Pro tip โ€“ Set your toaster on medium heat to reduce the risk of a burnt waffle. How to Reheat Waffles in the Microwave When you want to serve some, you can just place on a baking tray and place in the ovenat 180c/350f for a few mins to defrost and heat up. Looking for some other waffle recipes? These are also yummy!! If you put your waffles in the microwave for too long, they might get soft and soggy, or alternately, dry and chewy.
