would definitely recommend to any one who is looking for something to play around with too, a lot of things i am yet to figure out! Just used this pedal for the first time at a gig, it beats carrying around a heavy case full of individual pedals, and has a lot of great new features that i didnt have before, even with a delay, chorus, distortion and reverb pedal, i wont be looking back.

The ME-70 takes primarily a 'virtual pedalboard' approach, due to its lack of easy bank switching in Memory mode. It has at least a couple of thousand dollars in individual pedals if you add them all up and runs on one power supply and lead.So I go back to bass and get the ME50 for that band then start playing lead with yet another band and then I put my foot down. Then the OD/Dist pedal, Modulation (chorus flanger etc) and delay do exactly what those pedals should. However, that skimming which has been sufficient for every product I've previously bought, was not sufficient for this product.

I accept that there's a *very* narrow sweet spot to it, which varies depending on the amp - and with a few amps, doesn't exist - but when it's dead right it's the definitive distortion sound. But that would involve turning a stereo line output into a mono line input using some sort of special mixing cable.I like the digital display aspect of this too, changing the dials gives you an exact figure for things like tempo of delay etc. There are a few drawbacks to this pedal, the most prominent for me being the slight muddiness to some of the effects and the lack of quality within the amp models.

As can be seen from the photos, this specific item is in great condition but without any original packaging - so be sure to grab yourself a real bargain today! My only problem are some of the drives can leave a digital trail when decaying but the 'Modern', 'Classic' and 'Boost' are my favourites as they sound quite natural. i can say that when it comes to the BOSS Me-70, be it the distortions or flangers, or the 'cosm' classic amp emulation.I'm not sure, because I think the ME5 and BE5 were actually available at the same time, with the ME5 costing quite a lot more as it was more sophisticated. Simply dial up one of the six pre-programmed pedal-control destinations (Wah, Voice, Octave 1, Octave 2, Mod Rate, and Delay Level), put your foot down, and express yourself. As with its predecessor, the ME-50, what you get with the ME-70 is a stripped down offering of some of the essential Boss effects, in an easy to use, wallet-friendly package. Despite the relative simplicity of the design, BOSS has still found space within the budget to include a couple of tasty extra features.
