Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), later marketed as Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, is the first installment in the Indiana Jones film series. In April, Funko announced a new wave of Funko Pop! vinyl figures from the popular Indiana Jones film series, featuring new Pop! figures based on characters and movie moments from Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Temple of Doom and The Last Crusade. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is the first and only film in the series not directed by Steven Spielberg nor with a story written by George Lucas, with Spielberg and Lucas instead serving as executive producers. Characters from the Indiana Jones film series, including Dial of Destiny, have been transformed into Funko Pop! vinyl figures and, despite being movie-related Pop! figures, are part of the Pop! Disney series. The first four films were directed by Steven Spielberg, who worked closely with George Lucas during their production.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny had its world premiere at the 76th Cannes Film Festival on May 18, 2023, and is scheduled to be released in the United States on June 30, 2023. Pop! is a prevalent line of collectible stylized vinyl figures produced by Funko. Destiny Pop! first released in 2017 as part of the Pop!
