You can leave it develop for 1 hour for a light tan, 2 hours for a medium tan, 3 hours for a dark tan or even longer such as overnight if you want a really deep, dark tan. Once you wash it off, the ingredients will continue to darken and deepen your tan over a period of a few hours. I think this is amazing because it means that you can vary the shade of your tan depending on how dark you want it, without having to use separate tans! The mousse glides on and develops into a deeper, dark bronzed glow that lasts for up to 7 days in just 60 minutes. Being Irish and naturally a redhead, I have the palest skin you can imagine which simply does not tan naturally. It definitely gave a good, even tan and if I’d left it on longer and washed it off properly I’m 100% sure I would have gotten a lovely medium to dark colour.
