Realistic virtual immersive mix/listening rooms, which can be customised acoustically for your own or other rooms. You can use iCUE to customize the lighting of your headset, configure custom equalizer settings, select from pre-tuned audio profiles, control the sidetone, and more. For my money though, the Virtuoso XT's best (or at least its most unique) feature involves connectivity. Firstly, it supports pretty much every modern audio connection type out of the box. You can connect via USB or 3.5 mm cable, or wireless via aptX Bluetooth (a key feature for improved wireless audio quality and making sure dialogue is synced with people's lips in TV an movies) and Corsair’s 2.4 GHz Slipstream via dongle. And a removable mic means you might actually want to use this headset while out and about. But Corsair also goes one better, letting you wirelessly connect via Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz dongle to two different devices at once. That means you can hear your PC or Mac audio while also getting notifications or listening to music on your phone or other Bluetooth device. There are even controls for adjusting the volume of both sources separately on the right earcup. Appears like the new headset improved on most of my qualms with the first edition of the headset. With the price though I will not be transitioning anytime soon. Maybe in the future I'll keep Corsair in mind, but will be first test driving for a full day or two before I settle on the comfort. Effective externalisation and accurate localisation of virtual loudspeakers – essential for making correct mix decisions on headphones.

More importantly you can create custom profiles for your headset, such as for music and gaming, and each one can have its own EQ settings and lighting effects. Out of the box, you get five EQ presets, including a clean “pure direct” mode and presets intended for cinema, bass boost, and FPS gaming. On the lighting front, there are 17 options with typical color customizations. Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless SE - Gaming With that being said it is a terrific headset otherwise besides very minor gripes. The wireless range wasn't as good as my Logitech G930's I came from. Battery life is great, usually I get a full 12-20 hours of use depending. This is of course without the light turned on the logo, otherwise the battery life goes down a good amount. Build quality is one of the best headsets I've ever come across. Sound out of the box is very flat, you definitely will have to go in the iCue software to tweak (I do not like the out of box sound geared toward gaming). The detachable mic is both something I really like and dislike. I almost feel like I still want a dedicated mic that folds up and down while gaming, vs pulling it off after a session because I hate it being in front of my face. Also, the range of Corsair's Slipstream 2.4 GHz tech doesn't seem to be quite as far as Logitech's competing Lightspeed alternative. At least in my apartment, the Virtuoso XT's audio would cut out consistently once I moved about three rooms away from the PC with the transceiver (with doors open between all rooms). With the Logitech G Pro X Lightspeed Wireless, I could consistently venture an extra room away before its audio became unstable.Turned off, you’d never notice, but the sides of the earcups feature RGB LEDs in the shape of the Corsair “sails” logo---the LEDs are invisible thanks to micro-perforations in the aluminum face. It’s not super bright, and the logo takes up a relatively small portion of the earcup; it’s tasteful, fitting in with the overall adult aesthetic of the headphones. The VIRTUOSO RGB Wireless SE adds full aluminum ear cup plates, an aluminum microphone head and connector, and aluminum accents on the wireless USB transmitter to further refine the headset’s exclusive Gunmetal styling. Corsair’s iCue software features the usual dashboard, which you can configure with PC stats like CPU temperature and fan status, along with the battery state of both PC and headphones. can any one at corsair confirm they're rolling out a fix? (and maybe nudge your QA team to actually do compatibility tests before rolling out an update?) I also like how step 2 is "Connect the Receiver", even though you can't open that window without the receiver present. Shouldn't step 1 be "disconnect the receiver" then?

Same issue here. The headset reset suggested above does nothing; and from what i can tell is just Corsairs copy and paste response when they don't have a solution. All that said, not everything is excellent here. The rated battery life is just 15 hours, 5 hours less than the previous model. Corsair says, though, that the dual connectivity feature leads to the shorter battery life rating, and that you should still get about 20 hours of runtime if you're just connected to one device. The VIRTUOSO RGB WIRELESS headset comes with a detachable microphone with an LED ring that indicates whether the microphone is currently live or mute. I had the same issue. I connected the headphones via a usb cable, iCUE found them, loaded the required module, restarted, after that the headphones were detected through the usb adapter. Maybe you can tell me how to make it work all in one? How to make iCue regulate AIO in automatic mode?

Hold up! Something’s different:

I'm in a similar situation to this but the thing is that my headset (virtuoso SE) still connects wirelessly. the audio quality is the default without any equalizer, and as far as my friends on discord can tell the mic quality is unchanged. the dongle just blinks red like nothing is connected but the headset is very clearly still working That said, there are a couple of downsides on the wireless front. As mentioned earlier, rated battery life if you're connected to two devices is just 15 hours, which means you'll need to recharge the headset every other day if you're using it mostly for work, or every day if you're using it for work and leisure/commuting. Corsair has updated the design with the XT model to improve comfort, lessening the clamping force on your head and adding more padding to the headband. The result is a headset that's far more comfortable for long-term use than the similarly styled Logitech G Pro X Lightspeed Wireless, which has been my go-to work headset for the past year-plus of the work-from-home pandemic.

I also had a tab for my motherboard rgb which is gone now as well, but I can still see the temperature for my motherboard on the dashboard. Did the same on my main PC and it worked too. After an "upgrade" to iCUE 5.2.pleasedontkillmypc it was gone again. title=More%20Expert%20Tech%20Roundups&type=articles%2Cvideos&tags=tech-roundup&count=4&columnCount=4&theme=articleThe removable 9.5 mm omnidirectional mic is quite good, and has a handy feature for games or calls: An LED ring around the end lets you know when your mic is muted (red) or not (green or white). And a button on the bottom where the mic plugs in lets you easily mute or unmute. At that price, it we’d expect it to be an all-around great set of cans, something you could wear all day long for music before switching roles for gaming in the evening. Without even trying them on, you get the sense that Corsair know that; these are understated headphones that have more in common with, say, a high-end Beyerdynamic than Corsair’s own VOID Pro RGB SE headphones. In terms of industrial design and manufacturing, the Virtuoso RGB Wireless XT is effectively the same as the previous SE model. The earcups are light aluminum with a classy silver look, accented by an RGB-lit Corsair logo in the center. The earpads and headband are padded with memory foam and supple leatherette material. The latter looks and feels great, though I do wonder how it will wear--especially as there's no mention of the pads being replaceable. After turning on the headset - the keyboard turned red and the color could not be switched after turning it off. Unloading iCue helped. And also, the rear fan had its own color, being connected to the same HUB with the rest. The Slipstream wireless connection uses Intelligent Frequency Shift (ISF) to ensure the strongest signal possible and has a range up to 60 feet. The headset is compatible with the PlayStation 4 and PC.

Tried to leave LINK and installed MSI Center. There I managed to synchronize the light of the motherboard, fans and keyboard. Before getting the latest K70 firmware, MSI Center didn't see the keyboard. I didn't see a mouse either. And I did not see AIO. Meanwhile, battery life is fairly below standard at 15 hours between charges when using all the features. With dual wireless connectivity and RGB lighting off, you can swing an extra five hours out of the headset. Charging to full took somewhere in the ballpark of three hours. There’s an accelerometer-based smart-sleep/wake function that can tell when you’ve placed the headset down or on one’s head in an effort to save battery life as well. If you’re the type to use your headset as a general wireless headphone without the mic, Bluetooth aptX HD sounds nearly as good as wired or 2.5Ghz, though the compression is slightly noticeable. If you care less about preserving battery life, the RGB lighting on the side will definitely turn heads in the wild. The VIRTUOSO RGB Wireless SE uses a unique micro-perforation process to enable dynamic RGB lighting to shine through its aluminum ear cup plates, allowing for subtle lighting that also becomes virtually invisible when turned off for a seamless appearance. The microphone is removable, so you can get it completely out of the way when you don’t need it. The stem is flexible, but since it’s sheathed in rubber, it has a slight tendency not to hold its shape, unless you don’t bend it very far. It has a 9.5 mm omnidirectional mic, and there’s a mute button built into the base where it plugs into the headset. A gorgeous ring around the mic glows red or green, making it easy to tell in your peripheral vision if you’re live or muted -- another nice detail. then my system paired and i could unplug the headset still connected and all the settings accessible.

What is the Corsair Virtuoso Wireless SE like?

The VIRTUOSOS RGB WIRELESS headset has three main ways to connect: Slipstream wireless, USB wired, and 3.5mm wired. Battery life could be a little better but the Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless XT sound truly stunning. While we’d usually recommend keeping gaming and music listening separate, the Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless XT are just as strong for music and movies as they are for gaming. That’s thanks in part to Dolby Atmos along with a wide sound frequency that works for any scenario. They’re comfy too and also provide connectivity options including 3.5mm, dongle, or Bluetooth.
