I'm a little more interested in how the film was made than in what the voice actors think about the games, characters, and settings. I am thinking this is just rental. Why would they let you buy digital 6 months before the supposed blu ray release. Sometimes early-days on-demand isn't necessarily cheaper than going to the movies, but happy for people if they can see it and couldn't before. I do think Mario movie is one of the relatively few animated movies which is really worth watching on a big screen though; there is just so much going on with the visuals that seeing it all in a theatre gives that extra oomph. DdG1408 Apply that "because of the Mario name" logic to the Super Mario Bros. movie from the '90s and see how it plays out. . . . This is one those movies that I think is greater than the analysis of the various individual parts that make up the whole, which are also all still great in and of themselves imo, and I'm so happy it happened in my lifetime with a Nintendo property.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie [DVD] [2023] - UK

nomither6 we booked the access room in our local Cineworld and took in a pizza when the wife and I went to see it. Considering that the movie is still breaking records at the cinema, I thought that they would have kept the focus there for a while longer? Get as much money as possible from the cinema release, before giving people alternate ways to view it? This feels a little premature to me... but what do I know! But it's not like I expected Nintendo and Illumination to pull a full Pixar with this, so I'm okay. Kirbyo Plex is a service where you provide your own server and movie files, then Plex makes it so you can stream it to almost any device you own. Your teacher still had to source the video file, probably from the dark parts of the internet. tseliot we don't need to imagine, because games have generated over a billion in revenue many times.

The movie itself is meh and isn’t even as good as the minions movie and I am an extremely huge Mario fan. In all fairness it wasn't the best 420 movie, a few giggles but it was mostly heavy on the nostalgia. And, honestly, I just can't take anyone serious who genuinely thinks this movie is anything other than great. They're entirely free to do so, of course, but I do not respect their taste on such things or indeed their understanding of what makes a great movie. People don't have to think it's perfect, but anyone dropping below a 7/10 bare minimum just isn't living on the same planet as me. I've never watched any movie more than twice at the cinema previously, and only then because someone else dragged me along for the second viewing, but I've now watched The Super Mario Bros. Movie six times, which I think speaks volumes regarding where I'm at with it.Oh and "revealing" l, 1st sentence 2nd paragraph, should probably be "revealed". Or maybe not, it's past my bedtime. My brother and sister haven't seen it yet so we'll probably get together to watch it... which will give me another excuse to see it again, this time without the sniveling kids and overly loud parents chattering with each other. I don't mind paying for things, but I'm not about to spend what will likely be full price to only ever watch it once. No thanks. Even if I inevitably stream a digital version, I'd much rather have it on an account as a paid for product that I keep until the merchant inevitably dies, than only ever get to watch it once.

In a weird sort of way, I was really hoping for a directors commentary, maybe even having Miyamoto be apart of it(Subtitled of course). Hey Liam Optimum isn't a streaming service it's the 4th largest cable tv brand in the US owned by French company Altice. They do have "on demand" for a fee but I've never heard anyone refer to old school "on demand" as streaming before. Trikeboy It really was awesome! I bought the Lord of the Rings trilogy special edition that each had 4 DVDs, two for the movies (extended edition) and the other two filled with hours of pure extra content. I mean if it is this week on like apple and stuff then maybe I’ll finally get to see the thing. That would be really nice actually. RetroGames Yeah, as a big Mario and Nintendo fan I'd say it's a 9/10 because of those issues, but close to a 10/10 for me too as my only personal gripe is that it's short and I wanted to see even more of it, watched it in Italian once day one alone and once with my sister and her boyfriend later since they hadn't watched it yet and can't wait to rewatch it at least once in English and once in Japanese when the DVDs come out (or if I find it elsewhere before, but still getting those for collection regardless)!Once again, this is referenced as being an "on demand" offering - meaning you'll have to pay to watch the movie. Spectrum TV has also apparently listed the Mario Movie as being available "on demand" on the same date.
