Vitamin E is an effective fat-soluble antioxidant. Alternative research disclosed that vitamin E is a fat-soluble antioxidant that can protect polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) in the membrane from oxidation, normalizing the manufacture of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and reactive nitrogen. Under normal and pathological conditions, the immunomodulatory effect of vitamin E has been found in both animal and human models. Due to the underestimation of the development, function, and regulation of dendritic cells, macrophages, natural killer (NK) cells, T cells, and B cells, recent research has focused on the role of vitamin E in specific immune cells. Vitamin E enhances cells to recognize the immune regulation mechanism [ 30].
