Size, layout, space

Vis-a-vis family tents always focus on the sleeping space, rather than the living space. It’s the limitation of the design. The Zenobia 6 and 8 are for those who can accept that the living space is limited, and don’t mind that the family will have to spend most of the time outside the tent during the day. However, both Zenobia tents have a living room large enough for the whole family in case it rains. That got us thinking though, that we’re looking at every possible item from Hi-Gear so it would be good to narrow our search down even further and only look at Hi-Gear branded products within the 5 – 6 Person Tents category. We bought one of the first Zeobia 6 tents. It has proved wonderful & spacious for the 2 of us. It definitely needs 2 people to pitch it. For one person it would be a very long job!

Its climate control design means it should be 5C cooler during the day and 1C warmer at night when comparing to the outside temperature.As others have sent this makes much more sense when added centred on the tent rather than the door, the instructions are wrong. We ran our gas fridge in the porch as it has plenty of ventilation, the gaps at the bottom were a bonus for us. Berghaus has manufactured outdoor clothing and equipment for over fifty years, with its headquarters located in Sunderland. We bought this in April for the two of us and our Labrador (tent, porch, footprint and carpet) from Go Outdoors. Very low price so it was like all extras were free. Unfortunately, we couldn't give it an outing until now (September).
