During my testing with this hot sauce I used it in place of mustard for every dish in which actual mustard would otherwise have been used. Baron West Indian Hot Sauce won me over with every drop every time. I highly recommend trying it poured over grilled bratwurst on a bed of sautéed onions. Perhaps not the best combination for cordial social settings but the resulting profusion of intense flavor elements made for a memorably delicious meal. Love mustard? Then you’ll love this. This sauce combines the taste of scotch bonnet peppers and mustard, made to be enjoyed by everyone from kids to grown-ups. Alvin’s Hot Sauce slaps from the moment you open the bottle, as the aroma of Scotch bonnet peppers can take over a room. But again, we don’t want to suffer when eating a nice dish, and this doesn’t make the consumer regret the decision. As for which dish, this is by far my favorite to use on homemade wings, and sometimes I’ll combine it with some Frank’s just to really make it pop. Spika Oil

Unlike most sauces that primarily use water and vinegar, Alvin’s main ingredient is Papaya-based, along with other great herbs and spices. This gives it a unique initial flavor with savory heat.

Baron West Indian Hot Sauce is produced by Baron Foods Ltd., an award winning gourmet sauce and food condiment manufacturer headquartered in St. Lucia. They offer a wide variety of exotic culinary products many of which prominently feature notable spice and flavor characteristics of Caribbean cuisine. I’m especially fond of hot sauces, as I try to collect a prominent bottle from every destination I visit, even if it means just grabbing a random bottle from the airport gift store on the way home. Fortunately, when I have the chance to spend time with an island’s talented chefs, I learn a little more about personal and local favorites, and on the rarest occasions I might even bring home a one-of-a-kind bottle. The American Heart Association did some research on chili peppers and learned from their study that eating chili peppers can help you live longer. This is due to capsaicin, the active component in chili peppers, which has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anticancer, and blood sugar-regulating effects. This bottle might be found in a lot of big city restaurants—and on Netflix’s Restaurants on the Edge—but the eponymous creator was born in Trinidad and raised in St. Croix, so the Caribbean influence is undeniable. And the experts agree, because this bottle has been celebrated at a variety of food competitions and hot sauce awards events. Marie Sharp’s Fine Foods boast of having a “Farm to Bottle” freshness with a sharp focus on flavor. They’ve got a variety of flavors and options to choose from.

The heat in the Caribbean sauce is guaranteed to be great. The peppers for the sauce are harvested when they’re ripe and then prepared in a special way before they’re left to mature – this is what makes them so darn tasty! Winfresh Spicy Sauces are the perfect way to add the Caribbean flavor to your dishes. With four varieties of sauces, you’ll be sure to find one that suits your palate. Sweet & Spicy Tamarind Sauce is the perfect balance between sweet and spicy, while Sweet Ginger Hot sauce has a rich, creamy consistency with just the right amount of heat.

One of the main reasons Llewellyn Clarke’s sauce is so popular is because it has a perfect balance of spicy and sweet. The yellow hot pepper-, mango-, ginger- and garlic-based sauce tastes just as different as it sounds. Llewellyn’s line of hot sauces includes a guava pepper sauce, banana-flavored hot sauce, and his famous red pepper sauce.

Baron West Indian hot sauce is a St Lucian favourite to pair with stews and meat dishes. This vibrant yellow sauce gets its heat from scotch bonnet peppers, with mustard bringing a sweet and bitter tang to the bottle. Serve this yellow hot sauce with rice and beans, drizzle over barbecued meat or add a dash to your bacon sandwiches for a bright start to your day. This hot sauce is from the US Virgin Island of St. John. The great thing about this hot sauce is that it enhances the flavor of any food due to the use of premium ingredients like pumpkin, apple, carrot, tomatoes, onion, and habanero pepper. This classic favorite is full of flavor. It’s also versatile, great on everything including breakfast eggs. The great thing about Viking Dam Hot Sauces is that it has a light, mustard taste for cooking a wide range of delicious dishes.
