The height is below the magic limit of 10 cm (~4 inches). Both robots fit under most heaters, beds, etc. The Deebot OZMO 950 makes up for the missing protection pad with its sophisticated carpet detection function.

Special feature: Carpets are "shaded" on the map. That way, they are clearly visible and can serve as landmarks on the map. Firstly, you can only take out the relatively short power cable from one side (right). That could be very impractical under certain circumstances.

Design

Both mopping pads do their jobs well, but the Deebot OZMO 950’s wipe is a little more fluffy and has a slightly better quality.

To activate the mopping function, simply fill the water tank and attach the wiping plate (with attached wiping cloth) to the water tank. Then you - or rather, it - can get started. You get a glimpse into the inner workings of the robot vacuum if you open the lid (which is surrounded by a silver frame). With the mop attached you can choose to use no water, opting for the Low, Medium or High setting. It really depends on how dirty your floor gets: I found with four cats coming in and out of the house that the High mode worked best for me. Let the vacuum-mopping robot mop your home regularly. It’ll keep a nice level of cleanliness... and you won’t have to mop by hand that often anymore. The reliable carpet detection function is the main reason for the excellent performance. With this, the robot vacuum immediately sets the suction power to the "MAX" level once it drives onto a carpet.Depending on how dirty your home is, you’ll have to empty the mobile dirt container by hand 1-2 times a week. Scheduling lets you set which areas to clean and the mode to use, so you can keep your home clean automatically. The maximum suction power of 2000 Pa is also necessary to achieve good cleaning results on this challenging floor type. Low-Pile Carpet – Cleaning Review The robot vacuum seems to be of very high quality. It’s got sensors from Bosch and rollers from the German manufacturer Covestro. Therefore, the automatic vacuum cleaner robot can’t get into every corner. It’s impossible to achieve a perfect result.

The LDS-based navigation technology already recognises most of the obstacles and roughly marks them on the map. Therefore, it usually doesn’t bump into pieces of furniture. Save up to four maps in your home and tailor cleaning to match each floor. Your robot will recognize the floor it's on automatically, so you can simply watch it work. The manufacturer states that the robot vacuum can mop a 65 m² flat 3-4 times (or an area of 200 m² once) at a stretch. Another advantage: Since the robot vacuum also switches off the suction motor, it works very quietly. Sonic Mopping The Chinese manufacturer relies on the tried and tested appearance: both robot vacuums have a round shape.Both robot vacuums mark large obstacles (e.g. chair legs, coffee table, sofa, cupboards) on the map. They detect smaller obstacles with impact sensors (in the bumper) on impact and avoid them accordingly. Both robot vacuums navigate through the home in a structured, seamless and fast way. They don’t miss a single spot. We found a few oat flakes in the corners after cleaning - The robot vacuum cleaner can’t reach it because of its round shape. Just give it a few tries. Soon you’ll find out which water intensity level provides the best cleaning result. We had excellent experiences in our flat (laminate, PVC and tiles) with the highest water intensity level.
