Glam's transformation by using the included Hair Curler Tools to create the 'Red Carper Curls' look she was trying to achieve! It isn’t really magic as such (I think we were expecting some kind of ‘wipe off to reveal’ type trick) but none the less Erin was super impressed with the mask and found it really clever! Mika doesn't have jointed ankles (few of my dolls do), but she does have pretty feet, with individual little toes and a slightly elevated heel. Twist her hair around the curling tools to give her beautiful, bouncy curls and complete the 'Red Carper Curls' look she was trying to achieve! One is a hoop, the other is a stud with a chain and ear cuff but the ear cuff doesn't really clip onto her ear despite looking like it should. It's about time toy manufacturers and retailers woke up and dragged themselves out of the dark ages. The slip dress confused me at first, but I think it's included because the fabric on the rainbow dress is a bit see-through. The Fail Fix dolls need children’s help to fix their beauty look fail, by revealing their surprise fashion, transforming their hair and make up and using the included tools and hair accessories to create the look that they were attempting to achieve in the first place.I enjoy all of the face molds to some degree, too--especially the detail in the mouths, but Alyssa stands out because of her quirky smile. When I was posing Alyssa, her hand started to fall out, and the thin wrist peg was put under a lot of stress. I had a lot of fun flipping her and fixing her hair, and I love her face, but I can't help comparing her to my Rainbow High dolls and liking them better. I'm truly devastated that FailFix didn't get a longer run, even if the reasons for their discontinuation make sense.
