Whoever is reading for victor doesn’t even use the correct words, let alone pauses between sentences. I truly do love the three brothers and their development for the most part, but something about the combination of them with Willow is off for me. He’s nerdy but has his own hang up and his own quirks and he’s a nerdy guy who’s a bit of a shut in but he can hold his own and he doesn’t wear glasses. There’s nonstop action, spice, plot twists and even more incredible character development than the first!We barely escaped the last Gods’ Challenge with our lives, and not everyone who competed was so lucky. If you're looking for a sexy, spicy, and suspenseful romance, this book—and the whole Filthy Wicked Psychos series—is an absolute must-read. Beautiful Devils might be a tad slower in pace compared to the first book, but it's got more depth than the Mariana freakin' Trench. I’m still loving Willow’s character, and all of the guys are still some of my favorites that Eva has written (I’m not sure if any are going to top River’s men but they are slowly closing that gap. She gave into the brothers way way too easily, multiple times, when her inner monologue kept repeating about how she “knew she shouldn’t but couldn’t help it”. I love all of the men, but this book moved Victor up in my favorite, although I don't know if Ransom will ever move from first place. My parents are dead, my adoptive mother is a drug addict, and the mean girls on campus mock me for my scars. The world has turned upside down, and if I'm going to survive in this dangerous new landscape, I’ll have to fight for it. But hold your horses, because the next books in the series is out, so you won't be left hanging for long.
