For all the fans out there who waited a long time for this, I feel like we're finally able to give them all the kind of show they deserve. ELO's first album was released in December 1971, after a year of testing and producing melodies with the instruments Roy wanted to use.

The show is a great night's entertainment, and is guaranteed to have you tapping your feet, clapping your hands, and singing along to all the great songs. Many sell-out tours further established them as one of the most important and influential bands ever. In 2017, ELO members Jeff Lynne, Roy Wood, Bev Bevan and Richard Tandy were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for their 'boundary-breaking approach to rock' by British singer Dhani Harrison. Leaving the band in 1972, he formed the very successful if comparatively shortlived Wizzard, remembered for their No. First published in 2018 in a limited run of only 1,500 signed copies, for ELO fans the original publication remains a highly sought-after item. And more, 300 albums by ELO members and 174 albums by Roy Wood (solo, with his countless bands and related artists) are also listed. Like Smilla’s "Sense of Snow" combined with the best of Dennis Lehane, "North of Boston" is a dark and deeply atmospheric thriller with a sharp-witted, tough-talking heroine readers will be clamoring to meet again. Offering a rare behind-the-scenes look at Lynne's creative process and the incredible effort that went into making his landmark concert a reality, it's a must-have for both ELO fans and music lovers alike. The Mission of the Sacred Heart is a novel that follows a group of young creatives, a homeless girl and a visitor, who may or may not be an alien, through life in Portland, Oregon.

The 212-page book celebrates Jeff Lynne’s ELO, with extensive photography of the entire production from backstage to the front of the house of their June 24, 2017 concert at London’s Wembley Stadium, with original text by Lynne, writing about the concert and reflecting on each of the show’s songs. The title track, performed by ELO and Olivia Newton-John topped the UK charts - their only single to ever do so. It was magnificent, a dazzling reminder of the phenomenon that was (and still is) the Electric Light Orchestra, and in the words of Living Thing – like magic. The soundtrack's success then lead to a musical based on the film opening under the same name, premiering on Broadway in 2007, and in London in 2015. This book examines the music recorded by Roy Wood as a solo artist, plus The Move, early ELO and Wizzard, while an appendix also covers the three albums recorded by the Idle Race. The Electric Light Orchestra (ELO for short), was a classic rock band active from 1970 to 1986, led by front-man and singer Jeff Lynne. With beautiful harmonies from six singers, string section and world class band, this really is as close as you will get to the Real Thing. In 1983, Jeff Lynne decided to end ELO, following a dispute with their record label and falling out with the band's manager Don Arden.

The iconic performance included a giant spaceship, a backdrop of pyrotechnics, lasers, and a two-hour set list with songs from throughout the band's extensive career. Do you want to be the first to find out about what's coming up at Chesterfield Theatres including new shows on sale? The concert, which spanned Lynne's entire career, was performed before a packed audience of 60,000 fans. ELO celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2021, and Jeff said: 'It means so much to me to release this book during the 50th anniversary of ELO, and four years on from our Wembley Or Bust concert. Overture', 'Evil Woman', 'Living Thing', 'Diary of Horace Wimp', Don't Bring me Down' and of course 'Mr Blue Sky' went on to become the soundtrack of our lives.
