Do not use this product in situations where there is a risk that the connecting cord could become tangled or caught up during use. I put them in before take off and before landing ,didn’t need them all the flight ,and was so relieved to find they actually stopped the pain and discomfort.

Quies EarPlanes are hypoallergenic silicone ear plugs equipped with a ceramic pressure regulator filter that soothe your ears during aeroplane, car and train travel (at high speeds in tunnels, for example). Insert the ear plugs into your ears, without forcing them, just before take-off and just before landing.

If your littlest is "stubborn" you might want to talk her through the earplugs (and mybe even get her to try them) before you fly. You take a hot, steaming paper towel and place it in a styrofoam cup (to keep the heat in) and then immediately place the cup over your ear.

The silicone earplug has four circumferential rings which provide an airtight seal between the product and ear canal. I have really tried everything, including the "holding the nose and blowing" trick, but it still does not work. In theory, an ear plug inserted just before ascent or descent will trap a small amount of air at current air pressure between the plug and the ear drum.Glo - I suffered really badly with earache and a whooshing in my ears which lasted a full week of my holiday ,I bought earplanes not thinking they would work .
