It's one of these books you must have in your library and refer to continuously when attempting to make healthier food choices. The bookalso highlights the significance of adopting a mindful and well-rounded approach to fasting, while urging readers to seek personalized guidance from healthcare professionals. So we spent, you know about the first six months working together looking at her hormones from a day to day perspective, and applying the principles of fast like a girl to her hormones and watching how they worked.And what ended up happening was, I not only had great mental clarity, not only had insane energy, but I started to lose my cycle.

Mindy gives a great explaination for why women need a different approch to fasting and weight loss, especially as we get older. The last 15% of the book was recipes, the glossary, and the index of cited sources, so I definitely skimmed that part. I am loving the book and it would be awesome to be able to track my fasting and my cycle all in one app in my phone. I think her messaging is on target: avoid toxic ingredients (read labels); sugar bad; complex carbs bad; fruit and vegetables good; protein animal and/or plant good; good and bad fat; good and bad oils. Much like with exercise, fasting is an incredible, free healing tool that everyone can benefit from.
