Liverpool Gin has arguably been the cream of the crop of Merseyside’s gin industry for quite some time now. Muddle Blackberries and Rosemary in the base of a shaker, add remaining ingredients, shake well with ice and fine strain into a Sling glass. Combining floral and fruity notes, with a subtle smokey spiciness on the finish and a rich luxuriant mouthfeel.

For our gin this includes both pure spring water and high-end botanicals, and means our gin is clean, crisp and smooth on the palate, and has a subtle fresh citrus aroma for you to enjoy. This smooth gin evokes the splendour of botanical beauty, with the lasting flavours of rose and citrus. It is the rich tapestry of sights, sounds and flavours of Liverpool Docks back from the 1700’s that make up every drop of the Liverpool Collection we produce today. People can see how gin is made, learn about its history in Liverpool, and take part in gin tastings and classes. The home of gin and many liqueurs, England is increasingly producing craft vodka, rum and non-alcoholic spirits.We don't currently offer different flavours in different bottles, however we may offer this in the future. The gin itself was created in 2012, but only started to be produced on site at the Liverpool Gin Distillery when it opened in 2018. It is here where we offer visitors of our wonderful City the opportunity to see our very own distillers in action, whilst relaxing and enjoying a refreshing drink at our wonderful bar and dark spirits room.

Sea Holly (Eryngium maritimum) is the official flower of Liverpool and grows along the citys coastlines. If you imagine Gordons, or Gilbey’s you’ll have nailed the flavor profile, although again perhaps a bit more gentle. Liverpool and Merseyside's commercial distilling history dates back to the 1800s when two whisky distilleries were operating, Vauxhall and Bank Hall.

The Homemade Gin Company was established in 2016 after gin lover Peter Golightly began experimenting with a copper still after gaining the appropriate licenses. About the wine: Liverpool Gin is distilled in the artisanal Liverpool Gin Distillery on Castle Street in the heart of Liverpool's financial district, close to the iconic Liver Building and the River Mersey. Launched in West Kirby in 2016 by Steve Tapril, Tappers Gin Distillery moved to a new site in Upton in 2021.
