Yellow Kite has acquired Aldo Kane's "inspirational" memoir Lessons From the Edge, following an eight-way auction. But before the battle-hardened Scot found fame for his telly escapades, he often felt like a failure after leaving behind his role as a Royal Marines sniper in 2003. Aldo saw active military service from Northern Ireland to the Middle East and became a survival expert in many environments.
