It's particularly challenging when you've had so many records, but when I showed Myles what I was thinking, he absolutely loved it and was on board right away. The Alter Bridge that I loved was back full force after 'The Last Hero' which I found to be thoroughly underwhelming. Well maybe in the future we will see a remake of Royal Albert Hall, as I think that some of the inspiration for the new album might have come from this experience as well.

And as Myles sings “Do you feel alive” directly into your ears, it travels so deeply that one has just the urge to answer, “Oh hell yes! The Bitter End is again an example of a song with a calming vibe, while Pay No Mind is based on interesting riff with visible synth elements and great rhythm section. Plus the second of those two has in my opinion at the beginning one of the most interesting riffs from all the songs of the album. Mark Tremonti remains one of the finest and most explosive guitarists in rock, and any album he’s involved in will squeal like a rat in a gangster movie. The seven-track EP consists of a brand new song, "Last Rites", plus six live favourites from Walk the Sky.I’m talking about the album oriented rock (AOR) sound of bands like Journey, Autograph, Night Ranger, etc. The EP was released on CD and LP, while the digital and streaming versions were released together with Walk the Sky as a deluxe bundle. The Sound Vapors Podcast was launched in November of 2018 and listeners can hear interviews with some of their favorite musicians, actors, actresses and people in the world of sports. And when I realized that the sound at the beginning which seems to be a guitar is actually Myles doing wonders with his voice, that’s when my mouth literally hit the floor.

Forever falling sounds like a hit to me, great riff at the intro, good chorus, melodic vibe all along the song I love it. Still, with constant touring of Myles Kennedy with his solo record and Slash and the Conspirators, with Mark’s solo band Tremonti, they found time to work on new material.

I feel that AB are an underrated act (if such as thing exists), failing to gain the extensive exposure in the States when compared to the adoration they appear to enjoy in Europe. I would be surprised if this one did not make it to the setlist for live shows, but as it happens, sometimes the most epic songs are not to be played live. Especially since with every listen you can just find there something that you have not heard at first. Along with the announcement of the album's release, it was also revealed that the band would embark on a European tour with Shinedown, Sevendust and the Raven Age towards the end of 2019.
