However, there is such a thing as too much self-degrading humour and after a point the words become repetitive and predictive. Or maybe it just seemed like it because it didn’t require me to do a lot of thinking or understanding. She shares her observations and her own experiences that I found funny may be for the first two pages but then everything fell flat. On a quiet December evening in 1989, a bored scanner chanced upon a report of a curious bedtime conversation between Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles in which the current king made an important confession.

Funnybones isn't just about few incidences in the life of the author but if you come to think of it, more or less, it's a part and parcel of every women's life at least in India. Twinkle is in a multi-colour frock and her sister Rinke can be seen sitting besides Sunaina in a similar frock. This book isn't just a collection of anecdotes; it's a hilarious adventure that had me chuckling so hard I almost spilled my chai – which, incidentally, would have made for yet another Mrs. Twinkle hasn't been new to the writing world; she has been writing columns for quite a time which now has compiled in a form of a book. People I want to box on the head: people who post minute-by-minute updates on FB depicting every detail of their December getaway. You lose a child to an accident or an illness, and with a broken heart, you console yourself that you did your best, it’s perhaps God’s will, he has gone to a better place; but when your child decides that the life he has been given, the life where everything he knows is what you have taught him, is not worth living, how do you live with that?
