It cannot be worst than the book of Bobba Fett (I hope); the first 2 episodes were fine but then nothing happened. Bobba should have had vengeance against somebody on every single episode. Fennec Shand was apparently one of the greatest killer of the Galaxy - her role has been completely wasted (same happened to Captain Phasma). I believe there were a few episodes where we did not see either Bobba Fett or Fennec Shand. We are being pedantic only because of the price of 75334 Obi-Wan Kenobi vs. Darth Vader. Otherwise, this set’s core strength is in its minifigure design and selection. — LEGO Star Wars 75334 Obi-Wan Kenobi vs. Darth Vader price — You have to remember that the current Lego business model is premised on getting SW fanatic AFOLs (which includes myself) to spend regardless. To that end, they create a combination of false scarcity (sets and GWPs) and puchase incentives (GWPs and double points) to drive sales. That is why you see sets, like the dioramas, sell. Lego provides enough FOMO incentive (positive and negative) to overcome the initial negativity over set value.

Personally I think the show is great. Its just proving the adage that "nobody hates Star Wars more than Star Wars fans" unfortunately. It doesn't help either that there is a Star Wars-hate complex, that has popped up on YouTube to monetize bashing Star Wars, and now that the sequels are over the hate mongers need to bash whatever else is new. They're mad Kenobi is a broken man struggling with PTSD, and not a badass video game character that crushes people's throats and lives out a male fantasy daily. They will be bashing Ms. Marvel by the end of the day, Thor Love and Thunder in a couple weeks, then Andor and Bad Batch Season 2... its their path, its their way to make money, shill their political opinions; and get mindless fans to follow them while they laugh to the bank. A rotten lot the bunch of them. Kids aged 8+ years old can recreate a fierce battle between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader with this LEGO Star Wars (75334) buildable toy playset. The ultimate battle between master and former padawan is here! Also included are duo Tala Durith and NED-B and it’s really very nice to get both included here –75334 Obi-Wan Kenobi vs. Darth Vader can be criticised as a set, but as a selection of minifigures it’s the best possible collection we could ask for, for their respective contributions both to this particular scene being played out and to the wider story that the show tells. The price is unarguably more than the set is actually worth, but the same can be said for most LEGO Star Wars sets nowadays. There were so many ways to write Vader in this and NOT meet with Obi Wan. It lessens the OT's dramatic scenes. Just silly. "Can't speak for everyone, but I rarely buy recent sets anymore. I always wait a couple of years for the aftermarket, sets sold from households that are growing out of sets and the like. But even that is not much. This year I've almost entirely bought sets from before 2010. I think a lot of people forget that a lot of MOCs, like Star Wars ones, are also just a ton of blank space with minifigures. We’ve been down this road before with Darth Vader, though –at the moment, LEGO Star Wars is not a theme for taller minifigures. Now if they were blue cat people, we’d be on to something…

C’mon, Lego: you can do better than this! Admittedly, I don’t know what constraints they were given by Disney (which could have been in many levels) but I feel that they could have done so much more for a low- to mid-range set. As far as the build goes, I will admit it could have been better, but it is reasonably accurate. I think tan might've been more accurate to the show for the ground, but it was pretty dark in the scene and hard to tell what exactly the environment was like. As usual, Obi-Wan carries a blue lightsaber, including the cloudy lightsaber blade introduced with another Obi-Wan Kenobi minifigure during 2019. The characters put into minifigure form are where 75334 Obi-Wan Kenobi vs. Darth Vader clearly is strongest. This is perhaps best summed up in how an arm-printed version of Darth Vader manages to be the least interesting of the four in the set, and just last year that was a highly-desirable minifigure. It definitely should have a way to manipulate the rotating platforms remotely, and the absence of such a feature hurts the set.

Again, as I have mentioned in a prior post, I have not seen the show yet (waiting at the end for binge-watch). I am actually surprised they decided to do that show (the only good reason is to bring the inquisitor - in that case they should have done a show on the inquisitor and in passing we could have seen Obi wan).

The minifigures are honestly pretty great, and Vader having arm printing is what everyone wanted at an affordable price. Evil always triumphs over good... because good is dumb [substitute 'loves cool minifigs']." - Dark HelmetInstead, the platform contains another function, as a band of flames is hidden inside. Opening the platform creates space to raise these trans-orange pieces using a switch beside the cargo sled, approximating the flames which eventually separate Darth Vader and Obi-Wan onscreen. Once again, I like how this function is integrated, but 75326 Duel on Starkiller Base achieved a similar effect with far fewer pieces. That is why people are so angry. We just laughed at 75201 because there was no reason to buy it. It was just laughably absurd. But, everyone knows we NEED those minifigs. So, eventually, we will have to get this set. It doesn't mean we're hypocrites. It just means that Lego has won. The set was provided for review by LEGO. All opinions expressed are those of the author. Minifigures P.P.S. The Grand Inquisitor and the Fifth Brother originally came in a couple of great sets ( 75188, that's five years ago."
