I liked how the competing love interests (Lucy's fiancee Brad and Zach's girlfriend Morgan) weren't total dweebs, annoying jerks or evil schemers. They were perfectly nice, fine people, who, in the absence of the clear attraction between Lucy and Zach, would have been completely suitable significant others. I also liked Lucy's friend Anna. Lucy didn't even remember her, yet they got along famously from the start. There was probably as much chemistry between Lucy and Anna as between Lucy and Zach. I liked that she wasn't just an accessory, but an integral part of the plot. Greetings, salutations, and a seasonal welcome to my consideration and recommendation of An Unforgettable Christmas. It was entertaining enough, although missing the x-factor. The acting, sets, lighting, and music were satisfactory. Also, it's not difficult to sit through a film when everyone is so easy to look at. I get this feeling that these Hallmark actors are of a higher pedigree. Why aren't they performing in more mainstream stuff? I hesitate to explore this, I might not like what I find. Where to stay: On the corner of Waterloo Street and Blythswood Street and moments from the cool shops, bars and restaurants around Buchanan Street, Hotel Indigo is a stylish base for a festive trip to Glasgow. The 94 rooms are colourful and comfy, and adorned with rich fabrics and local artwork. All have large windows, polished wood flooring and a rare free minibar.

One day Sam has an accident and develops memory loss and is told he cannot be left to recover on his own. Angie’s family takes him in to recover in their home in the days leading up to Christmas Day. Sam’s illness makes him a happier, more friendly man. He begins to repair relationships with those he has estranged. Furthermore, the attraction between Angie and Sam cannot be denied. But the question remains - when Sam recovers, will the attraction still be there? The amnesia was original in it's own respect, however, it was presented a bit oddly. Why was everyone so calm and blasé about it? Acute memory loss is usually indicative of a traumatic brain injury (even in light of the negative brain scans). Also, it's strange how a person's very essence could shift 180 degrees to the point they have been lying to themselves, and all of their friends so profoundly. The amnesia seems a cry for help. But it's all part of the mystery. At night, you can take a wander around St Nicholas Fair. Fairy-lit alpine chalets line Parliament Street and St Sampson’s Square where local traders sell cutesy craft gifts and artisan produce. Finish off the yuletide experience with Christmas carols by candlelight in York Minster. Dubbed England's 'Christmas Capital,' Winchester in Hampshire is a charming place for a festive break. Bagging one of the most picturesque settings in the country, Winchester Cathedral Christmas Market (17th November until 21st December) features more than a hundred wooden chalets, all selling cutesy handmade crafts and festive treats. Don't miss one of the cathedral's carol concerts held in the run up to the big day.

Furthermore, 'Christmas on My Mind' pleases visually, lovely festive locations attractively and never drably or garishly shot. The music isn't as intrusive as it tends to be with Hallmark while the direction gets the job done well. The script doesn't get too cheesy or sentimental and does have a more natural flow when it becomes more settled. The story is not too heavy while taking itself seriously and is both warm-hearted and has a light touch when necessary.

There are times where the dialogue could have been better. Parts are for my tastes on the cheesy and forced side. A few slow moments here and there. I liked the fact that the concept of this story was slightly different this time. There was a bit more depth to it and it managed to deliver that, whilst also maintaining that seasonal vibe. But overall, I highly recommend this book. You might wanna read this if you want to feel the spirit of Christmas early and if you miss your family.Brad, played by Clayton James was a nice guy too and a cutey. His change of heart at one point seemed a little bit easy and hard to believe though and It did feel like he had a different voice dubbed over his own. Famous around the world for its Hogmanay celebrations, Edinburgh is also the perfect spot for a frosty break at Christmas. The Scottish capital promises six weeks of festive events and celebrations in the run up to the big day. Visit Santa Land on Princes Street Garden with its Elves' Workshop and a Christmas Maze, or potter around the twinkling chalets at Edinburgh Christmas Market on East Princes Street Gardens. There will also be visitor opportunities for Santa's Grotto, where children can write and post a letter to the big man himself, as well as receive their own toy. Games and competitions are bound to keep youngsters entertained, as well as a hotdog stand (vegetarian options available), and Polar Krush iced drinks. They will then be allowed to enter the mailroom, where they can write their own letter to Santa, including any special requests and messages to the Reindeer, then post it into the magic mail post box. But the fun doesn't stop there - families will be led down a breath-taking Candy Lane to the bear room, where they will get to build their very own 16-inch bear and see the elves on stage.
