Anker headphones generally have high latency on PC. You may notice your audio and visuals fall out of sync, which can be frustrating if you like to stream video on your laptop. Now you can go into the Bluetooth settings on your second device and connect to the Anker Soundcore Spirit Dot 2 earbuds.
Although not all of their headphones support this codec, a couple of their latest headphones, like the Anker Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro Truly Wireless, support LDAC, designed for Hi-Res audio. Support for this codec is also uncommon in truly wireless headphones. Even at 0.4 ounces, the Life A2 NC feels lighter than most ANC true wireless models with similar shapes. The Sony WF-1000XM3 (0.3 ounces) and Liberty 2 Pro (0.3 ounces) come to mind. I wore the buds for several hours throughout the day, usually 2 hours straight before fatigue set in. Anker’s mic array does a standout job with speech recognition, grabbing every word for both Apple and Google’s AI bots to fully comprehend. Aside from the activation delay, my verbal inquiries were met with speedy results. But be wary when enabling the feature, as the beep noise that signals you to speak is uncomfortably loud, no matter the set volume. On the upside, their continuous battery life of just under 28 hours is enough to get you through long days on the go, and you can use them passively in a pinch. They're well-built and have a comfortable fit suitable for long listening sessions. Their default sound profile also delivers extra thump, rumble, and boom while vocals and instruments are crisp. Most Anker headphones are compatible with the Anker Soundcore app, which offers a graphic EQ and presets so you can adjust your headphones' sound to your liking. You can also remap controls and adjust the active noise cancelling (ANC) level to suit your needs. By far the absolute DEEPEST and ear rattling bass I’ve had in a pair of earbuds, especially at this price point. Sound quality is insane, I haven’t had to touch the custom tool on the app for equalizing. Just use bass boost.
Stay in my ears better than most but not during tennis. Don’t take these into battle and expect to bring them both out! But I wish. Maybe I have weird ears? Connectivity is arguably the Life A2 NC’s strongest hallmark. The initial pairing process was a breeze and re-pairing to known devices was instantaneous. And if Bluetooth ever acts up, there's always a button at the bottom of the charging case to manually enable pairing mode.
