I recently released a review of this on my youtube "Rotten Rebel" and like always I (most) wanted to share my thoughts on it with the amazing community over here. Having used this for few days now, my better half likes WBTN more than this, but i still love this. I can see though how bit sweeter notes in WBTN would please woman more than the most wanted. Basically when wearing this you'll just smell nothing else than good... Not bad, but not great either. Gingery/Caramel notes seem to fade after about 1-2 hours for me, and turns into this subtle Vanilla-only scent. Very calm, although I wish the top notes would last longer on me. 5-7 Sprays for me, since my skin chemistry doesn't seem to be that good. Also, Jeremy Fragrance calling this a "Grown up Invictus", isn't entirely inaccurate, i can kind of imagine it. People saying that it smells like Grape, i too can see why, at least synthetic grape, like purple fanta. I only get that, if I imagine grape while smelling this. Finally, the smoky woody notes starts to appear after about 30 mins to an hour followed by the bourbon vanilla, smelling almost spicy, smoky, powdery and sweet scent in the dry down. This fragrance is most suited for fall/winter wear, day or night. You could probably get away with wearing this at the office, but only do a few sprays max. This is an excellent date night fragrance as well, but same rules apply; a few sprays max. The parfum version is more professional, to the point where I wear it to work confidently. Personally my favourite Azzaro's release by far, but my opinion might change in time as I have only wore this once. So far so good, Azzaro did a good job! I'd definitely recommend you to try it out first before buying it. Projection: 5/10 (about 20 cm/8 inches, more of a fragrance for cuddling/when you brush past someone) Blind bought this one because I had smelt some of the others in the line and I heard this was a more mature take on the others. I wore it today and whilst I did like it, it's a lot sweeter than I expected and the stays very sweet for the entire dry down. It smells a lot like that artificial grape flavour you get in some soft drinks. Some people hate that smell, I kind of like it but I definitely wasn't expecting that scent in this perfume. This fragrance for men invites the wearer to take on more and more challenges, to go in search of new experiences, to dare to take chances more than ever. The AUB batch is just OK with a heavy top and a weak bottom, lasting a fraction of the time by comparison. Azzaros wanted-line to me has that 'sophisticated wild-west saloon' vibe. Don't get me wrong, these are versatile modern fragrances, but when i cross-sampled MW and WBTN, i noticed some similarities without them sharing any mutual notes. I came to conclusion that it is the ''spirit'' of these fragrances that bound them to same line. May be that im affected only by the revolver shaped bottle but that is how i would describe it. Since it has some verdigris in it - a modern wild west scent.
