About this deal

I love highlighters and wear them all year round. When I think of highlighters I think about Becca Cosmetics. In my opinion they make one of the best highlighters on the market. They offer three formulas for their highlighters in liquid, pressed or poured form. Yes, Champagne Pop from Becca cosmetics is good for every skin tone, including pale skin. This peachy-pink hue neutralizes the pink undertones in the skin to lend an even and radiant complexion. This is the light true gold shade in the permanent line. It’s deeper than and has a much warmer yellow tone than Champagne Pop, which is cooler and more neutral than Prosecco Pop. A makeup highlighter provides instant radiance, elevating dull skin. Even though mascara and concealers can lift the looks, highlighters work an extra mile. This is why you need the best BECCA highlighter that gives a lift to the overall face providing glow like never before. The BECCA highlighters effectively highlight facial features like nose bridge, forehead, cheekbones, eyelids, and cupid brows. These highlighters catch the light and create an illusion by brightening the high points for enhanced beauty of your facial structure. An award-winning highlighter with an ultra-creamy formula that melts into skin for a natural, luminous glow.

May Contain (+/-): Titanium Dioxide (Ci 77891), Iron Oxides (Ci 77491), Mica, Iron Oxides (Ci 77499, Ci 77492), Carmine (Ci 75470), Manganese Violet (Ci 77742), Ultramarines (Ci 77007), Yellow 5 Lake (Ci 19140), Ferric Ferrocyanide (Ci 77510), Chromium Oxide Greens (Ci 77288), Chromium Hydroxide Green (Ci 77289), Bismuth Oxychloride (Ci 77163), Aluminum Powder (Ci 77000), Blue 1 Lake (Ci 42090), Bronze Powder (Ci 77400), Red 40 Lake (Ci 16035). Let us look at a few essential points that you need to consider while buying a statement-making BECCA highlighter to create your favorite celebrity-inspired makeup looks. How To Choose BECCA Highlighter Color This looks like a deeper, more coppery version of Topaz. It’s the darkest shade in the current lineup and it’s got a warm, almost hint of reddish undertone. Why is this being reviewed you ask? Because I--stupidly--did not read through the product listing before purchasing and thought it was a NEW shade to celebrate the Year of the Rat, when in fact it is long-standing Moonstone in new clothing! ?Build where more glow is desired, such as cheekbones, the bridge of the nose, and chin. Repeat until the desired effect is reached. Limited edition or exclusive highlighters that are currently being sold are Smokey Quartz, Bronzed Amber, Royal Glow, Spanish Rose Glow, Golden Mint, and Gold Lava. Step 2: Lightly glide the brush, starting from your cheek’s high points and move up towards the temple and brow. The only one that I’ve tried is Smokey Quartz which I thought I’d love but subsequently returned. The formula was really thin and dusty and I didn’t like how it look on my cheeks. Cruelty-Free and Vegan Status Can you tell us the difference between the 3 BECCA highlighters and the kind of finish you can get with each?

So if you don’t own any of the Becca highlighters Champagne Pop is a great shade to get since Becca claims that it would suit most skin tones. Becca is a cruelty-free brand. Neither they, nor their suppliers test ingredients or finished products on animals. They also don’t have third parties test on their behalf and they don’t sell their products in countries where animal testing is required by law. Becca is owned by Estee Lauder who is not a cruelty-free brand. Sweep onto the high points of the cheeks, creating a “C” shape as you move up toward the temple and brow bone. Unlike traditional pressed powder highlighters, the unique formula fuses ultra-fine, pearl pigments with liquid for an ultra-buttery texture. The creamy formula builds and blends seamlessly, without ever looking glittery or chalky. The creamy formula refracts pure light from every angle for the most natural, luminous glow. Why It’s Special Step 3: Blend the brush on other facial features you want to highlight, such as the bridge of your nose, chin, and forehead.

This is one the most recent limited edition releases. It’s a medium warm peach with a gold shift. This shade is warmer and the shift is more dramatic than Lilac Geode. I didn’t love the way this looked on me, I found the color a little intense and not super flattering but it would probably work better on deeper skin tones. Pearl is a soft pearly white. It’s similar in finish to Moonstone but the icy white hue makes it less wearable for warmer skin tones. If I had to sum up my thoughts on the pressed Shimmering Skin Perfectors I’d have to admit they’re not my absolute favorite formula of pressed highlighter. Like I mentioned earlier, I prefer the liquid version (which seems to have been discontinued, WHY???😭😭😭). I gravitate toward a smooth and seamless powder like the Essence Pure Nude Highlighter or the highlighter in theBalm’s Will Powder Palette. Some of the Shimmering Skin Perfectors are just too sparkly or thin for my liking. Now for the comparison swatches. People were wondering how similar Champagne Pop is to Becca Moonstone or Opal and also how it compares to The Balm Mary Lou. When you look at the pan and compare the shades, Mary Lou is the lightest of all, then comes Becca Moonstone, Becca Champagne Pop and the darkest of the bunch Becca Opal. The consistency was soft, a little dusty, but smooth and blendable on my skin. I still find the texture of the formula to seem a bit drier compared to the one years ago (like in 2013), though the actual color, application, and effect on my skin looks the same. It applied evenly and didn't emphasize my skin's natural texture. It wore well for eight and a half hours before fading a bit.

If you want a more subtle glow and a highlighter that you can use to mix with your foundation the Shimmering Skin Perfectors are awesome for that. If you prefer cream highlighters go with the poured formula and if you like an intense glow the pressed version gives just that. Best Buildable Formula:BECCA x Khloé Kardashian & Malika Haqq Bronze, Blush & Glow Palette – Gold/KhloéPale skin: If you have pale to light skin, you could opt for silver-toned, pearlescent, or champagne highlighter. A cool-toned Becca highlighter for fair skin would be a great choice. Although you need to avoid shades that are too warm, soft tones with golden highlights look great. We absolutely love Prismatic Amethyst, Pearl, and Moonstone. On my medium skin tone it looks really nice, not as intense as their other shade Opal which I actually like. I can definitely see the peach undertones when applied on my cheeks. Medium skin: Since you have a warmer skin tone, you need to avoid anything that’s too silvery as it may look ashy on your skin. Look for hues that have more warmth like warm pinks, peaches, champagne, or gold. For medium skin tones, the Becca Opal highlighter or Rose Quartz should work well. The poured crème formula delivers a mattified shimmer and is great for dry, mature, and combination skin types since they offer a little hydration to the skin. As you can see by the swatches Becca Opal is slightly more golden and darker than Becca Champagne Pop that has peachy undertones.
