About this deal

If, on the other hand, you live in the kind of household where the treatment of your glassware violates the terms of the Geneva Convention, then these are the glasses for you. I would like to say that we are this latter kind of household, though I’m not actually sure if anybody else in the house contributes to the regular shattering of water and wine glasses, or if I have accomplished that all by myself. Suffice it to say that by the end of last summer, I was staring at the usual mishmash of mismatched glasses that results from me purchasing and smashing several different sets of glasses, mostly from IKEA and Target, over the course of several years. Our Mutual Friend x Hop Culture Gift of Arrakis– The beer can glass is just fun because there is so much surface area to slap on creative or pop culture-inspired designs. Take for example our new Gift of Arrakis collab glass with Our Mutual Friend. We played off our team’s love of science fiction novels with a deep cut into Dune by Frank Herbert. Lovers of fantasy will immediately want to add this glass to their collection. While our Gift of Arrakis collab was a one off during the Craft Brewers Conference this year you can find plenty of rad versions of this glass from some of our favorite breweries across the country including: Riedel O Wine Tumbler Cabernet/Merlot, Set of 4: While users liked the shape of this glass, it was very light and felt like it would break incredibly easily. We also weren’t a fan of the sharp rim.

The wide bowl directs aromas to your nose as you drink–enhancing the flavors–and also lets you enjoy the salt or sugar on the rim. Then, the long stem helps keep your drink colder longer. Perfect for…

We’re just starting to see this stainless steel vessel gain steam, so it’s not available everywhere. But here are a couple options: Hop Culture Weird Fishes Tumbler– The Rastal Harmony Tumbler is technically a wine glass, but we love it for bright, vibrant sours and farmhouse ales. The curved walls and slightly smaller mouth result in concentrated aromatics. So you can savor the fruit acidity of a kettle sour or the oak characteristics of a barrel-aged stout. Choose from one of the more stylish designs below. This shape directs complex aromas to the drinker’s nose and the short stem encourages heat transfer–making it perfect for brandy, whiskey, and bourbon since these drinks are often served neat and at room temperature. Perfect for…

DuraClear® Tritan Outdoor Stemless Wine Glasses: While, in theory, we liked the idea of a plastic stemless wine glass (who hasn't had a wine glass accidentally shatter?) these glasses disappointed. They were bulky, with one of our testers likening them to a paper weight. And to be frank, they were rather cheap: the plastic had a faint blue-ish sheen to it and visible seam. Glasses (like the Nude Pure one pictured here) that were larger than 11.25 inches in circumference at their widest point were difficult to hold.

Continuously offering contemporary products designed to last, LAV released the LAV Bodega range of exceptionally functional drinking glasses that reflect the LAV signature style.

Fable Glassware Set: While these glasses were surprisingly durable considering how thin they were, their thinness was a downside in a tactile sense; users thought they were too slim and that they verged on the boring side of plain. Moomin Glass Cup– Previous Hop Culture Managing Editor (and golden boy) John A. Paradiso discovered this line of Moomin glassware and immediately fell in love. Using original illustrations from Tove Jansson, the whimsical, delightful glasses can double as a decorative element holding a candle or tealight. Perfect for juice, iced tea, kombucha, or a floral beer, add the Moomin cups to your collection. Hop Culture Santa Willi Becher– If Tekus were the kings of the beer glass world five years ago then the Willi Becher is now the queen. Originally designed by Willy Steinmeier, who worked for German glass company Ruhr Glas in 1954, the Willi Becher gets its name from its roots. Becher literally translates to cup in German. Hoof Hearted Coffee Glass Mug–“Glass and coffee” doesn’t really have the same ring to it as “coffee and cigarettes” or “coffee and donuts”. But we’ve seen a few of these glass versions pop up over the past year. Think of these mugs as melding the best of the beer and coffee worlds. Nude Pure Set of 4 Bourgogne Glasses: This style of wine glass is traditionally used for wines with delicate flavors; the larger bowl allows the wine to open up more and the nuanced flavors to rise to the top. And if these glasses had stems, we might have liked them more, but as a stemless glass, they were just too large to comfortably hold—they gave off fishbowl vibes.

Rastal Harmony Wine Glasses

The long stem and cone-like shape help control temperature, direct aromas to your nose, and make you sip slowly. And these attributes make these glasses perfect for shaken or stirred drinks without ice. Perfect for… It usually holds no more than 4 ounces, allowing a smaller serving of liquor to look like a full glass. It doesn't slosh its contents onto the floor as easily as a Martini does. And it displays those clever garnishes oh-so-cleverly.

I highly recommend these glasses to anyone who is clumsy or has children, or God forbid (as in the case of our home) both. These are the glasses that can solve the mismatched glassware nightmare once and for all. The LAV Bodega range brings contemporary design to your kitchen with minimalist and subtle cylindrical silhouettes, as well as decorative, botanical designs that will add on-trend earthy tones to your kitchen. Popular Products from the LAV Bodega Range While Margaritas can be served in just about any glass, the traditional Margarita glass has a large, round bowl with a board rim. This is most known as the glass you drink Moscow Mules in. True copper mugs are actually made with 100% copper to keep your drink as cold as possible. Cheaper mugs simply have coated exterior and don’t do the job quite as well. I bought these glasses over 6 years ago for the simple design and their delicate, lightweight appearance. They still look beautiful with no etching or scratches (we use biokleen dish detergent).
