I've been buying Fantasy Stage Edition as the sourness of kiwi note is barely there! Also, rumour has it that is THE closest to the original. Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health. I find the reformulated fantasy lighter, fruitier and just overall more watered down and you don’t get as much white chocolate as you did before. And a hint of cotton candy which the og didn’t have. There’s also something sharp :/ The costs for delivery, installation services and monthly insurance products cannot be placed on BNPL. My ol' drugstore bottle happens to be made in Spain. My head immediately goes to reformulation, but I can take the trade-off since Intense is truly that strong anyway. I immediately get a cute juicy fruit that is somewhat tangy, and not as cloying as I expected it to be. The familiar vague, sweetish heart in Intense is the same, but obviously softer. I interpreted that as a "berry eraser" from my childhood, now I take it to be the infamous cupcake accord (sorry, but it's unlike any real cupcakes I've smelled). Really pleasant though, not at all going candy or sour as I would've expected. In fact it makes it much easier to wear.

Gigi7891 in response to your review (and anyone else who is interested). I understand the confusion because the companies never tell the truth about reformulation. So basically everyone is having to hear all different stories about reformulation designs, dates of changes etc. It's confusing to everyone. In the heart, the sweet cupcake accord blends itself with white chocolate orchid and jasmine petals for an intoxicating air of decadence and intensity. Sweet and feminine with earthy undertones to stop it from being too young and cloying. I am discovering that I love quince in perfumes despite not loving the fruit. This is a classic hot girl scent if you know what I mean. I personally find it too heavy for the daytime and see it as a nighttime going-out scent. I also wouldn't wear something so sweet and heavy in hot weather. My bottle is very old (about a decade) and I suspect it's lost staying power. I remember this lasting all night, but now it only lasts for about 4 hours. I might buy a new bottle because it's so cheap where I live and update this review at some point. I think this is quite a safe blind buy or gift, and kind of a classic celebrity fragrance at this point. Overall a great fragrance and a crowd pleaser. Received this yesterday. You can tell it has the DNA of the original Fantasy, but when I say original, I mean the new reformulated version. I was getting excited that this may have more of the warm cupcake/white chocolate feel as the original early formulation did but alas, it didn’t.

I think I might prefer this slightly to Midnight Fantasy, but I enjoy them both. Incredible bargain fragrances, easy-reaches, and feel-good fumes. I would say it’s a very safe blind but for those who like sweet fruity scents or desert scents with a little more body then just straight up sugar. the longevity of fantasy is just okay for me. i’m glad it lasts super long on others though. for me, i feel like i can only smell it for an hour or 2. sometimes on my clothing faint hints. i do like how this scent is versatile for day or night time use. not cloyingly sweet but refreshing and lovely.

Now over a decade later into my 30s i decided this summer will be my Fantasy summer and bought a full sized bottle, ready to be washed over w memories of my sophomore high school years upon the first whiff…and to my surprise that did not happen. Weird since im very exclusively only sentimental with scents. I didn't like YSL's Mon Paris at first bc it has a similar sharp (idk if it's a berry) note, but I grew to love that scent.I really like this perfume, I even like the patchouli but I love the gourmand drydown the most, it's really nice overall. The ingredients in this are far superior to the horrible reformulated fantasy, it is a sin in the fragrance world considering how beautiful the first releases were (plus it's hard to find fresh bottles now of the pre-reformulated version). The reformulated fantasy is now a shadow of it's former self, it's sour and unpleasant once it dries down, so try this one instead because I found it to be a real treat to the senses, it reminds me of christmas in France last year, beautiful memories to treasure:) During the opening I regretted my choice. Where was the sweet litchi? Why did I smell so much iso-E? It smelled like Fahrenheit, that's not what I wanted! But slowly waves of Fantasy were coming my way. My friend came closer, and closer, and now, after a couple of hours I feel HUGGED by a beautiful soft vanilla sugar warmth with Fantasy sparkle. How can a perfume be so inexpensive, but so good? The drydown is on par with perfumes that literally cost 10x as much.

But i guess that just shows how much it’s been reformulated. It definitely is missing that addicting creaminess I remember the original had, white chocolate and cupcake notes that made me fall in love. The current one is a lot more fruit forward but not ripened fruit, its very sour and zingy. I never tried the original Fantasy in its day, but oh gosh were its ads EVERYWHERE (and for Curious too). I needed to satisfy another childhood curiosity, but wasn't particularly buzzed by the sharp fruit to cupcake approach of the OG. However, I was tempted by this description of deeper, and of course the beautiful bottle. To me, this is more rounded than the current formulation of fantasy. The one in the pink bottle is sort of powdery, and this one isn't. This really smells premium, concentrated and well done. KIWI-Topped WHITE-CHOCOLATE Cupcake. Opens with a tropical-fruity burst of kiwi, red-litchi & quince, that deepens into the sweet gourmand heart of white-chocolate & cupcake rounded out by fresh florals with orchid & jasmine. The florals here bringing some soft purples, and deeper purples from the grape-leaning jasmine. This all rests on a fruity-floral support base of musk, orris root & soft woods. Overall I get a kiwi-topped white-chocolate cupcake, and while the bottle is gauche, the scent is delightful - the freshness of the tropical fruits cutting the sweetness of the gourmand facets and helping to keep it from getting too sweet. Has above average performance for year-round wear. Wary of the reformulation of the original and being a massive fruitchouli-lover, I found a 100ml bottle of Fantasy Intense for only €40. Easy blind buy! BUT this intense version you get a more white chocolate with that cupcake scent lingering around. It’s sooo warm too! I did want to see a trail of warmth somehow, but I don't think it can be found here. Not sure in what form - perhaps more butteriness or more cacao-like, and edible feel? I think I hardly get cupcake, which would now warrant more wears for me, in more environments.
