The musical will take to Liverpool, Glasgow and London, starring Shaun Williamson ( EastEnders) in the role of Buddy the Elf’s father, and actress and singer Kym Marsh ( Coronation Street) as Buddy’s girlfriend, Jovie.

Elf first opened in London’s Dominion Theatre, bringing the tale of Buddy the Elf leaving Santa at the North Pole to seek his real father in New York to life. The production features a book by Bob Martin and Thomas Meehan ( Annie, The Producers, Hairspray), and an original score of new songs.

Janes took over the producing of the show himself in 2004, and Buddy has been on tour extensively in the UK since then, having played Broadway, five U.S. National Tours and numerous other productions around the world. The show was nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Musical.
