If your client has weak nails, a high C curve or experiences heat spikes, then use the custom cure technique recommended by the CND ™ lamp. Place the nail in for 2-3 flashes to slow the chemical reaction which can cause the heat spike or exothermic reaction, making it more comfortable for the client. This custom cure setting is recommended when using CND™ PLEXIGEL. Builder is for when you make full sets of enhancements – so boner – builer ( 2 coats ) then file and apply colour like Vinylux or Shellac or put Plexigel top for that look as well. Flash Cure means to partially cure the gel for 2-3 ‘flashes’ in the CND™LED Lamp for client comfort and product control. Using the CND™ LED Lamp with button 1 for 2-3 pulses will reduce the output by 50%, which will control the heat sensation. Once the gel is applied to entire hand, cure for one minute using present button 2B for complete cure. The CND™ UV Lamp has a beautiful broad distribution of wave length and should do a good job, however since CND™ no longer manufactures the UVLamp, we did not test it with CND™ PLEXIGEL. If using CND™ SHELLAC™ Gel Polish, skip Protector Top Coat and CND™ SHELLAC™ Base Coat and apply 2 layers of CND™ SHELLAC™ Color. Cure each layer for one minute in the CND™ LED Lamp using preset button 2S. Finish with a layer of CND™ SHELLAC™ Top Coat and cure using preset button 3. Apply a layer of CND™ PLEXIGEL Bonder to the natural nail. Cure for 10 seconds in the CND™ LED Lamp using preset button 1. CND™ BRISA™ Gel enhancements are tough and flexible, designed for hard, brittle nails that need light enhancing.
