I have been thoroughly immersed in this wonderful and engaging novel…full of unexpected twists I didn’t see coming!” Luana Lewis, author of DON’T STAND SO CLOSE

I’ve said this before and I stand by it, Jane Corry doesn’t just write a book, she tells a story. A powerful and compelling story that will take you on a thrilling but at times emotional journey. I would love to carry on reading about the characters in this book, I didn’t want it to end! Tall Chimneys is almost a character in its own right as it is included in both timelines. The imposing Regency building has seen a lot of history, both as a boarding house under Elizabeth’s ownership and also as a place of trauma for Nancy. A thrilling domestic noir with a great sense of time and place, excellent characterisation and plenty of surprising twists' Catherine Cooper, author of The Chalet I don't think it's a spolier but I certainly didn't realize this book is broken into two different time period POVs... Readers you are in for a tremendous treat – a roller-coaster of a ride that will leave you screaming, ‘No!’ on more than one occasion.” Carol Wyer

I do think the present time narrator could have been more morally gray. It seemed that every time she did something bad it was really only an accident, or she was made to do it. She never really made the poor decisions like the other characters. When her family tragedy is splashed across the newspapers, Nancy decides to disappear. Her grandmother's beautiful Regency house in a quiet seaside village seems like the safest place to hide. But the old house has its own secrets and a chilling wartime legacy . . .

The story revolves around Nancy, who after a tragedy in her family, decides to seek refuge in her grandmother's house, Tall Chimneys. In this book two of my favourite genres are combined- thriller and World War II historical fiction. I read both genres often, but I have not seen them come together this seamlessly before! An intriguing premise which leads to a rollercoaster of dramatic twists that keep you guessing. Suspenseful and chilling.” Elizabeth Haynes, author of INTO THE DARKEST CORNER Corry often explores darker themes, and those living on the fringes of society and this book is no exception: gritty, real, interesting and clever. Highly recommended.”Gillian McAllister A triumph. Coming to Find You was a compelling read with a dark and twisty plot.” —Jane Shemilt, author of Little Friends Intrigue, drama and secrets both past and present make Coming to Find You a must-read thriller.” —B.A. Paris, author of Behind Closed Doors Jane is a true master of her craft and Coming to Find You is her best yet. Fantastic atmosphere and details and a cleverly handled dual timeline make this a sure-fire hit." —Phoebe Morgan, author of The Doll House

Now someone knows the truth about the night Nancy's mother and stepfather were murdered. Someone knows where to find her. And they have nothing to lose . . . A heart-stopping psychological thriller about a woman running from the aftermath of a gruesome family tragedy–and also from the truth about her part in it. For fans of Gillian McAllister’s Wrong Place Wrong Time and The Family Remains by Lisa Jewell. Initially, I was concerned that part of this book was historical fiction. It’s not a genre I’d normally read, but I thoroughly enjoyed this side of the book, not only did it work extremely well alongside the part of the story set in the present day, but it was incredibly interesting and fascinating too. I loved how the stories came together so smoothly and thoroughly enjoyed the two parts. Nancy fighting her conscience as well as the threats that Martin was making. Equally Elizabeth’s life and her secrets some just as difficult as Nancy’s.Corry often explores darker themes, and those living on the fringes of society and this book is no exception: gritty, real, interesting and clever. Highly recommended.”— Gillian McAllister, author of That Night on I Made a Mistake Jane Corry is at the top of her game and her latest novel cements her place as one of the superstars of the genre. Addictive, dark, and all too believable,I MADE A MISTAKE is her best yet.”Phoebe Morgan A thrilling domestic noir with a great sense of time and place, excellent characterisation and plenty of surprising twists." - Catherine Cooper A gripping story with all the twists, emotional resonance and clever layering that Jane Corry does so brilliantly. I raced through this – staying up FAR too late to finish.” Teresa Driscoll Nancy’s story kept my heart in my mouth—right up to the chilling denouement.” —Nikki Smith, author of The Beach Party

The story begins in the present day with Nancy and a murder. In the aftermath of a family tragedy, she retreats to a family home, ‘Tall Chimneys’ on the coast in Sidmouth, Devon. Her life has changed completely, she has be careful who she can trust and her hopes to lay low and avoid the press are thwarted – it seems the house may not be the safe haven she expected. I’ve always enjoyed Jane’s thrillers and with Coming to Find You, she has combined a gritty thriller with WW2 historical fiction leading to a dual time story that is suspenseful but with an emotive undercurrent. A thrilling domestic noir with a great sense of time and place, excellent characterisation and plenty of surprising twists.” —Catherine Cooper, author of The Chalet

Corry often explores darker themes, and those living on the fringes of society and this book is no exception: gritty, real, interesting and clever. Highly recommended." — Gillian McAllister, author of That Night on I Made a Mistake Coming to Find You‘ features a dual timeline. In the present day scenario, we meet Nancy in the aftermath of a murder trial. To escape the scrutiny from the media, Nancy decides to hide away at her grandmother’s house in a quiet seaside village. This house has seen some things during its existence. Which is also where the past timeline comes in as we are introduced to Elizabeth, who owns the house and runs it as a boarding house during the Second World War. Jane never ceases to surprise me with the stories she comes up with and Coming to Find You is no exception. I love the way Jane combines the heart-warming with the thrilling; I think it's her superpower! She has such empathy for her characters." - Emma Curtis POV two is a historical fiction account of the owners of said sea side home during WWII. I quite liked this portion of the book and would rather have seen this as the dedicated novel. Jane Corry has crafted a well-paced and well-plotted story that keeps the reader engaged from beginning to end. The characters are well-developed, and the author has done a great job of making them relatable and likeable.
