About this deal

I keep waiting for the dashing Jonah to put a ring on it. After all, as Addie's aunties are still constantly reminding her, her eggs aren't getting any younger. But first, the stalker has returned and someone from her past will come to her rescue a second time. Her newest nightmare could mean the end of her world. When a French chef turns up dead, there's whole slew of people who might have done it. Addie, Jonah and Grey must solve another murder. And in the end they hope to narrow down the suspects that could possibly be her stalker before it's too late.

A chocolatey murder mystery for a large group with a central cast of 8 characters set at a new product launch party. Great for Valentine’s Day. The game ends with accusations where each character says who they think the killer or killers were before the video tells us what really happened. Not everyone guessed correctly, but by the end, the majority of us were able to put the pieces together about who we thought could have done it and why. A lot of people find Cozy Mysteries a mystery in itself. I get a lot of questions on why I read cozy mysteries. Well, I will tell you why. There's no gore, nothing that is going to stain your brain that you can't wash off again, and there is always a happy ending. The bad guy always gets caught and the world is made safe again. How can anyone not like that? The suspects all had chocolate-related names. Rachel Munns played Lin D’Or, a Swiss chocolatier with a hard shell, never dropping her accent once. Michelle Marshall played Jelly Bean, the company secretary, as a put-upon, reliable, lovable woman, who turned out to have some dark secrets. Sarah Kendall as Dolly Mixtures played the apparent airhead blonde who has seduced the victim and is the beneficiary of his will. Is she the murderer? Parma Violet, sweet and innocent in appearance, was played well by Chloe Gleadhill; and the union representative and jobsworth, Cherry Pips, clutched her rule book and kept us all amused. The final suspect was Toby Le Rone, Lin D’Or’s rival chocolatier, played as a nonchalant Glaswegian by Jonathan Ireland. Had the competition between the Scottish and Swiss chocolate masters resulted in the murder of their employer? Who is Addie's mystery man, "Robert Martin" and how does he know her? Who killed the french chef? The BIGGEST question of all, who is the stalker and whys he insistent on wanting to bring harm Addie & Jonah?MARCHIONESS DUCHAMP - An internationally notorious artist, whose work has scanalised two continents, and whose private life has done much the same. DR. DORIS JOHNSON - An amateur archaeologist specialializing in the Aztec culture, she is regarded as being eccentric even in a field populated by eccentrices.

Her family dynamic is great. Her two great aunties are fantabulous! Spunky and outspoken and so loving. Reminds me of some of my family that has passed away. God help me but I truly love women who are like that. Strong, brave, yes even a bit mouthy. You get nowhere in life being silent. How can anyone possibly be satisfied with others making choices and decisions for them? It’s not all moonlight and roses for Jacobia Tiptree, known to Eastport’s chocolate fans as Jake. Her father and stepmother are quarreling about his plans to move from the home they share with Jake into assisted living. Her son, Sam, and daughter-in-law, Mika, are having some yet-to-be-disclosed disagreement. And while drama dominates at home, there’s also stress at work ever since Brad Fairway, whom Jake thinks she remembers vaguely from her days in New York laundering money for the mob, opens up high-end patisserie Choco’s directly across Water Street from Jake and Ellie White’s Chocolate Moose. But finding Brad shot to death in his shop proves no solution to Jake’s business woes, since the local police immediately pounce on Ellie as their sole suspect. While Ellie waits to be thrown in the slammer, Jake searches frantically for alternatives, beginning with Brad’s lady friend Babs Littrell, a local textile artist. Her investigation takes her into Eastport’s art scene, where she meets a painter, a potter with a pet pig named Jillian, a virtual artist, and a cross-eyed Siamese cat who charms the pants off Jake’s stepmom. What she doesn’t meet is success, until an accidental encounter with the real murderer puts Jake’s life in serious jeopardy. Jonah, wow, I just love me a man like that. I always have a huge amount of respect for a man who listens to his woman but who also isn't afraid of standing up to her either. Being independent is great but really we all need someone to lean on at least sometimes. I love that even from the first book he has this innate want and need to protect her without him even understanding why. And Grey, I love him. I wish I had him as a best friend or even as a brother or a cousin. The way that he and Addie look out for each other is so endearing. It wraps my heart up in a big bundle of warmth and happiness and I just want to stay there.CHOCOLAT' BERTRAND - The greatest legend of the Belgian chocolate industry, he is known as much for his ruthless business practices as for his suave bonhomie. Entertaining...Plenty of suspects and a mysterious sailing ship make for an intriguing puzzle.
