About this deal

We first started selling audioengine products when the D1 24 bit DAC was released. We love their products and their speakers are punchy little numbers. They’ve been making good audio and audio accessories since about 2005.

They certainly enter this list in part because the angle is good for better audio but also as they look good. The Kanto S2 come in 6 colour options with quite a minimalist footprint. On the other hand, commercial stands offer convenience and a wide range of options. They’re ready-made solutions designed by experts in the field. It’s like choosing a professionally crafted instrument that’s ready to play, with all the bells and whistles. If you’re like most people you’ve put your speakers on your desk and you sit within about 1 meter from them. The problems with this are multiple: Isolation is Essential: Some stands come with built-in isolation pads or decoupling solutions to further reduce vibrations. These can be the secret sauce that takes your sound quality from good to extraordinary. It’s like adding the perfect seasoning to an already delicious dish. DIY Monitor Stands vs. Commercial Monitor Stands

In the world of music production and audio engineering, precision and attention to detail are paramount. Studio monitor stands may seem like a subtle addition to your setup, but their impact on sound quality is significant. Elevating your monitors to ear level, minimizing vibrations, and optimizing room acoustics can transform your studio into a haven of sonic excellence. Ensure that the room is quiet during calibration. External noises can affect the accuracy of the process. It’s like waiting for the perfect moment to capture a fleeting expression. Regular Recalibration The top plate is a great size, the height-adjustable options are excellent and the ability to adjust the tilt angle means these are one of the best studio monitor stands.

This is adjustable. You can choose to loosen or tighten the extension up. You can make the slope level by tightening it up. Once it's tight, it won't rotate around. This is where isolation comes in – separating the speaker from the floor, desk or shelf improves the sound reproduction massively as you’re not losing bass frequencies in the form of vibration.

Depending on the size of your desk it can be really nice having a little elevation on your speaker stands. I’ve found studio monitors or bookshelf speaker stands do well being slightly elevated from the desk and it does get the speakers closer to your ear. Collection and delivery costs are included for the first 2 years in the event of an item becoming faulty
