Unwanted Food or Drink Products - Once supply conditions are broken, there are a number of factors outside of our control that can affect the quality of a product. Therefore perishable goods such as food and drink cannot be returned.

One issue we had with the cleaner is that because it’s a liquid, it dribbled off the sides of our oven shortly after spraying. It was otherwise easy to apply in a few spritzes but the floor of the oven definitely ended up with more coverage. After 45 minutes, it had shifted the large burnt-on patches on the bottom, where the solution seemed to have soaked in well. The foam is both caustic and smells strongly of chemicals – you’ll also find anionic surfactants and aliphatic hydrocarbons (degreasing solvents) in the mix. If you look longingly at your oven and pine for the days when it was newly fitted and gleaming, this three-product kit is for you. We had to reapply and leave overnight to start to shift some of the worst deposits but the result still wasn’t spotless.

Is it worth getting your oven professionally cleaned?

For some of you, a plant-based cleaner might be ideal, especially if you're keen on doing your bit for the environment. Or, alternatively, you might prefer a harsher solution, particularly for stubborn grease and burnt-on leftovers. Deep fat fryer If you’re concerned about the environmental impact of chemicals, you may wish to opt for a plant-based, or non-toxic, BBQ cleaner that will do minimal damage to the planet, all while bringing your BBQ up to scratch. The majority of these options are also biodegradable. Kids don’t just get mud and grass stains on their clothes, they drag themselves through it and really rub it in there! Spray a little Elbow Grease on the stain and leave for two minutes before washing as normal. The stains will come out even on a cool wash! 11. Carpet stainsWe felt this might be a better product for lightly dirty ovens rather than the heavily soiled interior we were trying to clean. On the plus side, it was simple to wipe away with a damp cloth and no residue remained. Tiles in kitchens can get particularly greasy from food and oil. Simply spray a little Elbow Grease onto the surface and wipe away. No scrubbing needed. 20. Flooring It is not a dedicated oven cleaner as such (although Elbow Grease does have one) but it can be used to remove grease and food from glass and other oven parts, including your extractor fan and hobs. You may need to put a bit of - ahem - elbow grease into it and make sure to wear gloves and avoid breathing in the mist as it’s a powerful solution. These are one of those places in the home that can get covered in mud, dirt and over time get discoloured. Mr Muscle Oven Cleaner works wonders on even the grubbiest of ovens. Just spray the foam and leave it for a bit before wiping it away to reveal shiny surfaces that look as good as new. It’s only for use on the inside of your oven and you need to be careful not to get it on linings and rubber seals, but the foam gets to work straight away, loosening any build-up without the need for scrubbing.
