Overall, Everything is an excellent program to find and organise files and folders on your PC. With a simple interface, it’s easy to use and doesn’t affect your computer’s performance. The portable version makes it easier to install Everything on any device. Without a doubt, Everything is a feature-rich, comprehensive utility tool. A simple yet powerful tool! EverythingDopus is a bridge between both software, allowing the search results of Everything to be displayed as a collection inside Directory Opus. When Everything first runs, it creates an index of the names of every file and folder on all NTFS and ReFS volumes [2] on the system from file metadata, in the case of NTFS from the NTFS Master File Table. Suggestion: File Collection name = Everything. Maybe change it to EverythingDopus? I already had an Everything collection with subcollections, which gave strange results. "Everything" I threw at it was processed as expected. And fast too! On average a search with EverythingDopus takes around 45ms, while searches with SearchEverythingCoreCLI take on average 250ms. The worst times I got for each are 58ms ( EverythingDopus) vs 441ms ( SearchEverythingCoreCLI) - I didn't go through extensive testing though
