The makers of this software wanted something free and easy for people who just need the typical webcam features, and they definitely deliver. As a result, the Facecam is beautifully optimized for the streaming community, with some of the best software we've ever seen on a webcam to boot. We’ve all seen those videos where the camera just can’t seem to focus on anything. If you are planning to move about in the shot or show a close-up of something, fast and reliable autofocus is extremely important. Most webcams have wide-angle lenses, so it’s easy to stay in frame.
