It’s first told by a troll, on different occasions that they met and changed each time to tell Cardan some sort of lesson or piece of wisdom. The last time it is told is by Cardan to the troll in the finale of this book. This story within a story links so much of the book together and I loved it as I figured this out as I read. Book Genre: Fae, Fairies, Fantasy, Fiction, Magic, Novella, Paranormal, Romance, Short Stories, Young Adult, Young Adult Fantasy so yes I definitely do recommend this series and I'm still upset that I didn't get the version where it has all of Cardan's letters. still crying over that. (read it online). I mean who wants to see Cardan and Nicasia together?!?!?! I wanted more JURDAN moments.🥺😭 Instead there were like about 2-3(?) short stories on them out of 11???
I'd like to take a moment to thank this book: You have raised my expectations for love so high (I now want to be transported to a Fae realm and get thrown into a river by a hot and mysterious Fae prince who hates that he loves me.) and you have taught me so much about myself (why do I like his tail) and life. The Lost Sisters (2018) is a companion novella from the perspective of Jude's twin sister Taryn Duarte. It is available only as an audiobook and an e-book. [2]The book is a collection of short stories organized into nine chapters, which are richly illustrated. The chapters include stories from Cardan's early childhood, occurring before the main trilogy; stories occurring within the timespan of the trilogy, told from Cardan's point of view; and stories occurring after the events of The Queen of Nothing. I was expecting more Jurdan stories. Yeah, sure, I knew it was going to be about younger Cardan, but I really was anticipating more of his interactions with Jude in this. I mean, I can think of at least three scenes from the first book I wanted to see in his perspective. The Folk of the Air series has been reprinted into special editions by multiple companies including, illumicate, Fairyloot, and Barnes and Noble. In 2022 Litjoy also announced the complete special editions of The Folk of Air series.
