About this deal

In celebration of Christmas, I received a new watercolor paint set: the Koi Watercolor Field 48 Color Sketch Set. Their watercolors come in eight different size sketchboxes: 12 inches by 18 inches, 24 inches by 30 inches, 36 inches by 48 inches, 60 inches by 72 inches, and so on. There are two openings on either end of the box, with a nice plastic pallet that can be screwed into. To clean the sketchbox, a Koi Watercolor brush and a small sponge are included. The paints are very bright and don’t dry chalky like the cheaper paint I used in the earlier post, despite their pigment. Because the pans are half-pans, they don’t get a lot of paint in them. This Koi Watercolor Sketchbox (the 48-count) has been a very useful tool for me as a beginner, and I’m eager to show you all of the things I can do with it.
