Description

Do not open any bottles shortly after delivery. They are likely to be very volatile and cause spillage. Brewed in the north of France by Brasseurs de Gayant, the Goudale is a top-fermented lager in line with the best craft beers produced in Northern France. These beers are aged before bottling longer than the average, allowing them to release even more complex aromas and flavours. Créée en 2014, la “G” de Goudale Grand Cru Citra & Amarillo est composée de deux houblons provenant des États-Unis: l'Amarillo et le Citra. Déclinaison de la Goudale [ modifier | modifier le code ] La Goudale [ modifier | modifier le code ] As the brewery now also makes beers which were inherited as a result of mergers, in the section products there will be beers which were not traditionally made by Goudale.

In the unlikely event of any broken glass we would recommend to leave the broken glass in the box and only extract those bottles that are undamaged. Then dispose of the box, including broken glass, safely in an appropriate manner. G de Goudale Grand Cru Citra & Amarillo uses a blend of two U.S. hops: Amarillo and Citra which won the bronze medal 2015 [6] at the World Beer Award in the category Belgian Style Strong Pale Ale G de Goudale Grand Cru Mandarina uses a blend of raw hops and won the gold medal [3] in the World Beer Challenge 2014, Portugal No hanging around with this beer, on initial taste you can immediately get the alcohol, straight in with an aggressive taste………lots of yeast and citruslightning up the taste-buds! World Beer Challenge 2014, Portugal: Gold medal (for both La Goudale and G de Goudale Grand Cru) [3] Smells of caramel and the usual blond aroma of yeasts, sweet malts, grains and with a bit of citrus, nothing special. La Goudale is a bière de garde which was originally brewed in Douai (northern France) by Les Brasseurs de Gayant. The brewery has since moved to Arques. The Goudale got its name fromthe 14th century, where all good beers were called “Goudale” (Good Ale). The brewery have many brands such as Amadeus,Tequieros, La bière du Démon, St Landelin but their main product is La Goudale.

On appearance got a hazy amber orange colour that produced a pretty large frothy white head, which does die over time but maintains overall, albeit small. Some lacing. Nothing special to look at. The Goudale belongs to this quality series. It is brewed with special malt and flavoured with hops from Flanders carefully chosen. The Goudale pours a golden clear colour topped by an impressive and relatively long-lasting head. It challenges the nose with fruity and spicy aromas along with distinctive notes of yeast. In the mouth, spicy notes of yeast and hops sharp bitterness are finely counterbalanced by the full-rounded malts. This golden beer of character features a good length in the mouth. The aftertaste is dry and hoppy. Aroma is fruity, I get a little apple or pear mixed up with something a bit richer, maybe apricot, it’s still yeasty and is still promising something tasty.Taste is sweet but less so than La Goudale. It’s beautifully balanced better than La G imho. Tingly carbonation, coriander and oranges again. It’s lovelier. Lots more for others to home in on but I’ll leave it there. It’s slightly more alcoholic at 7.9% which is probably why it’s less sweet. I saw somewhere that it’s the same recipe with the addition of one more hop. La Goudale is sold widely in supermarkets in the North of France and has won numerous awards down through the years, most notably goldat the World Beer Challenge in Portugal, 2014. Its name derives from "good ale", the name given to local ales in the 14th century. [1] It is a top-fermented beer of 7.2% ABV. It consists of three Flemish hop varieties, two malt varieties (pale and caramel), two other cereals (wheat and rice) and spices ( coriander and bitter orange peels).
