The Custom picture mode works well for all content if you don’t mind a little extra color saturation. sRGB is there if you need accuracy or are a purist, but with 88% coverage of DCI-P3 SDR material doesn’t look oversaturated on the G9. And you can use HDR in Windows without penalty. The brightness control remains available if you want to dial down the output, but even with brightness set to its maximum, the Windows desktop never looked too harsh. This monitor has a Dual QHD (5120 x 1440p) resolution screen, plus a blazing fast 1ms response time, and a 240Hz refresh rate. I work as a 3d artist in game development and it's a great monitor for productivity, I can have so many applications on the screen at once it keeps me in the zone instead of tabbing out lots. That said, there are some compatibility issues, especially with full screen applications like games. Some games are great, others were clearly not designed to be on this aspect ratio. And the ones that dont work can sometimes be put to windowed mode and work ok while others can't. I've sound success in most games but it varies. Other than full screen applications this monitor is totally worth it if you're looking to get it to work on, but dont get this if you're only a gamer or just want to watch videos and browse the web (obviously) Gaming was a lot of fun with the G9.
