Description

The new AtGames Legends 4K Pinball (ALP 4KP) Standard Edition features The Addams Family™theme and table along with 14 additional built-in tables will be released in 2023. The product sheet including the full list of the 15 pre-loaded tables can be found here: http://legendsultimate.atgames.net/arcade/assets/AtGamesLegendsPinball4KPStandardEditionProductSheet.pdf Added a new section in the Common Guide on how to use Raspberry Pi Imager to format a device as FAT32. You can find the new section here. AtGames (www.atgames.net) is a leader in innovative consumer-oriented interactive entertainment products. The company leverages the latest technology to develop and publish its best-selling classic video game products for worldwide distribution. AtGames is based in Los Angeles, with international offices in Taipei and Shenzhen. I’ve started on a massive new guide, so much is going into this one. Lately I’ve been spending more time building up this guide for release and less time working on videos. I typically try to balance the two. I’m likely 2-3 videos away from the new guide being released and it will have to do with (Retro) Gaming. I can’t reveal much about it, want it to be a total surprise. The Server Locations & Network Test Kit is helpful if you want to identify any latency (i.e. lag) in your internet connection. It will report the current Latency Time (in milliseconds) and Upload Speed (Mbps). It will also show a map representing the server you’re connected to and your device location.

One option you may not be familiar with is Live Streaming. If you login to your ArcadeNet account Settings you can enter your Live Streaming credentials to allow you to live stream to Facebook, Twitch or YouTube. After assigning your account credentials, you can select the Stream button under the platform you wish to stream to. While streaming, you’ll see a red indicator when the streaming begins. What’s the difference between the ALP Micro and the ALP in terms of software? Not much of a difference, the user interface and options are the same as what you may be familiar with on the larger Legends Pinball machine. Legends BitPixel [Video] – While this video focuses primarily on using the Legends BitPixel on the Legends Ultimate, it also works with the Legends Pinball Micro! Therefore, you can mount the BitPixel near the ALPu on the wall. The BitPixel cannot be mounted directly to the ALPu. While that basic description applies to both of the cabinets we recently tested, AtGames wastes no time differentiating itself from the competition. First, its playfield screen is 33 percent bigger: 32 inches versus Arcade1Up's 24 inches. Second, that screen natively renders at 1080p, compared to Arcade1Up's 720p, and it sports much better color calibration. Third, this screen is covered in a full sheet of glass, which looks handsomer than Arcade1Up's plexiglass topper. Fourth, the flipper buttons aren't alone; next to each is a "nudge" button, so you can virtually bonk your table and nudge a pinball where you want it to go instead of relying on an imprecise accelerometer. (Arcade1Up's product doesn't include these nifty nudge buttons.)

The Settings across most AtGames Legends Pinball, Ultimate, Ultimate Mini or Core/Gamer series of products are implemented consistently. That is, if you are familiar with the settings for one machine, you’ll find the same or similar settings when moving to another product. There are a few minor differences, where it makes sense, depending on the machine. For example, the Legends Core has the ability to rotate the display between Portrait/Landscape Mode. The Legends Ultimate Mini handles this rotation automatically. While this feature doesn’t make sense for the Legends Pinball or Legends Ultimate, as an example. A few days ago, AtGames announced the Legends Pinball Micro. It is a smaller version of their popular Legends Pinball. For more information on this upcoming product, please see here. BYOG™ is the AtGames cloud gaming service. Play your PC games library on the Legends Pinball Micro. The following steps will assist you in pairing the Legends GamePad to your Legends Core. The GamePad will need to be paired prior to updating the Legends GamePad firmware : A: Product size (approximate): 44″ (L) x 30″ (W) x 66.22″ (H) inches; the height of the playfield from ground: 35″. Weight: 122 lbs.

USB List – Same as Local (above), but allows pressing the X/Y button to play the previous/next video. If you’re considering the Legends Pinball Micro, it’s always a good idea to get multiple opinions. Below are some videos from fellow content creators : Legends BitLCD [Guide] – While this guide focuses most on using the Legends BitLCD with the Legends Ultimate, the BitLCD application also comes pre-installed on the ALPu! Therefore, you can mount the BitLCD near the ALPu on the wall. The BitLCD cannot be mounted directly to the ALPu. So, you can use it for skill shots. Just that you have to time it just right during ball launch.
