Put all this together, and it’s perhaps no surprise that this tablet’s performance is not good at all. We noticed numerous pauses throughout our time with the device, from waking it from sleep to opening and switching between apps. Everything just takes a beat (or several) too long.

It’s quite compact for a full-sized tablet (in the old sense of the word), with dimensions of just 241.5 x 149.4 x 8.3mm and a weight of 420g. Of course, the primary tip off that this is a cheaper tablet comes when you power on the Lenovo Tab M10 HD’s display. It’s plenty large enough at 10.1-inches, but with a resolution of only (1280 x 800), it’s really not very sharp at all.
