Last week, Hasbro’s Marvel Legends team hit us with an unexpected livestream and some even more unexpected toy reveals. A special series mostly dedicated to characters and costumes from prior Marvel Cinematic Universe films that hadn't been featured in previous movie waves, as well as updating iconic characters. This excellent X-Men Age of Apocalypse Marvel Legends Cyclops 6-Inch Action Figure not only has amazing hair, but also includes a build-a-figure piece of Colossus!I’ll also say that despite my unfamiliarity with this storyline, the hair styles are phenomenal. Age of Apocalypse Magneto When Hasbro took over the license in 2007, they started right away including new Build-A-Figures. Series 1 contained Annihilus, 2 contained Blob, 3 contained the Brood Queen, and 4 contained ( Holocaust). Series one featured a Classic Spider-Man, Symbiote Spider-Man, Man-Spider, and Venom. Series 2 featured a First Appearance Spider-Man, Daredevil, a First Appearance Daredevil variant, Battle Ravaged Spider-Man, and Rhino. There were also 2099 and Scarlet Spider K.B Toys exclusives. This looks like a wonderful super-articulated update of the Toybiz Age of Apocalypse Iceman figure that I had as a kid (in a couple color versions, actually). The claw hands make for awesome accessories, and the facial sculpt is exactly what I wanted. And don’t miss that white icy frost deco on the spikes of his head! Love it! Accessory: Photo album of the characters, diorama, 4 bases, bazooka, removable cloth trench coat, nunchaku, pair of sais, pair of katanas and removable sheath for the four weapons. I think it’s a bit bizarre that Legion’s sole personal accessories are a pair of fists—since he’s an omega-level psychic that’s not exactly going to engage in fisticuffs—but I’m so ecstatic to get a toy of this character I can’t complain too much (well, maybe not until I get to my review). Fans of the Si Spurrier’s current (and top-notch) Way of X comic book series are gonna love this.

Age of Apocalypse Build-A-Figure Colossus

These highly articulated Marvel Legends Series figures feature intricate character detailing, making them excellent for both play and display. The Children of Thanos: Burnt Thanos, Proxima Midnight, Ebony Maw, Cull Obsidian and Corvus Glaive ( Avengers: Infinity War) Accessory: giant hand, hammer hand, pair of normal hands, part of Fantastic Car display stand and copy of Fantastic Four.
