About this deal

The best time to read a book depends on your personal schedule and preferences. Here are some suggestions:

Jameson and Emily are so chaotic, and it’s always so entertaining. I do think that Jameson is incredibly brash, so he kind of annoys me. Besides the ending of the epilogue (which was SO cute), I didn’t see a point in this storyline. It was entertaining, but it could’ve been better! One big positive: No Mother Miles popping up throughout with her words of unwisdom. I still haven’t forgiven her for the way she spoke about Claire like she was some dried up old prune simply because she's in her late thirties! (Yes, I’m around Claire’s age, how could you tell?) Elliot (The Casanova) — 2 stars — I can’t lie, at the end of his book I half-wanted Kate to stay in Hawaii and live her best life with some hot surfer after Elliot left her to go make sure he didn’t love someone else more (Yes, I already said it once, but really, wtf!). As it is, she’s very forgiving, so we join the two after they’ve been happily married for 18 months. The only thing missing in their life now, is a baby. And, possibly my favourite, teaching your kid that asking for respect is synonymous with throwing punches. And what a bitter end it almost was. There’s nothing I love more in a romantic epilogue than when the H and h are screaming at each other, throwing objects, and then not talking for a week…!

I want you to be the boy’s father.” I smile hopefully. “Legally. Before the baby comes.” I secretly lodged the papers months ago and they have only just been approved. He reads the papers as if unable to believe it and his face screws up in emotion. stars! Miles Ever After is a collection of novellas, or extended epilogues, for the Miles series. I thought I was looking forward to this, but I was really only looking forward to the catchup with Tristan and Claire (since The Takeover is my fav book in this series). But as a whole, I’m feeling very meh about this whole thing, didn’t really like any of the other novellas besides Tristan & Claire’s. Now obviously fans of the series will love this but for me it just reminded me of why I had disliked certain characters’ books. 😅 Of course, they get their HEA eventually, and it’s sweet if a little predictable, but after everything that happened between them, I was left more on the sombre side, instead of with the warm fuzzies. The Takeover—Claire and Tristan. Starts off with Tristan and Claire’s son Fletcher taking over and starting fresh with Anderson Media. Claire’s pregnant, we see the chaos before their wedding, moving into their new family home, him officially adopting the boys, talking baby names (and his offer of the last name possibility 🥹), he becomes a girl dad, 5 years later and more babies. I really felt for Kate and Elliot in this. The majority of their epilogue was them dealing with fertility issues and it was so heartbreaking seeing them go through it. (Not a spoiler as there is a warning before the epilogue) I do wish it were a bit more fluffy, but I did like how real and raw it felt and that it brought awareness to the topic! I did love how it all came together in the end though🥹

beds banging against walls (you think with all their money the Miles brothers could buy sturdy bed frames) Along with the Do-Over, I was most excited for this epilogue. I adore Tristan’s relationship with the boys and I loved seeing more of that in this epilogue. Their family is so chaotic and I love it! I was really hoping for more deeper conversations between the couples, maybe some scenes with the kids when they’re a little older, and a bit more originality between the stories.Tristan is, and always will be, miles (sorry, couldn’t help myself) above the other brothers. Remember that one time Claire said Christopher and Tristan were like two peas in a pod with identical personalities? She must have been drunk out of her MIND that night, because there is, sadly, no-one else even close to Tristan. The way he cares for those three boys, his dedication to making Claire happy, his reluctance to let his baby girl out of his sight…Yeah, okay, you got me right in the ovaries there.

The Stopover - enjoyable and fluffy read. I think Emily could be my favourite main female character of the series. She pushes Jameson to be a better man and is the headstrong wife he needs. This was the epilogue I was most worried about because I saw someone say they were unhappy with where Elliot and Kate ended up. However, I really liked it. The struggles felt incredibly authentic. The only reason this wasn’t a 5 ⭐️ epilogue was because of how Elliot and Kate blew up at one another. I did not like that aspect at all. However, what Jameson and Emily did for Kate and Elliot was one of the most heartwarming things I have ever read, so I was BAWLING.I really really really hope that we are going to get more books based of the new generation of Miles's. When you’re as rich as the Miles brothers, you have multiple fertility treatment options available to you--all options that these two (even with their combined brain power and the input of medical professionals) ignore until the bitter end. Before bedtime: Many people find that reading before bedtime helps them unwind and relax, which can promote better sleep. The Casanova: I loved the story between Elliot and Kate that I read it multiple times. However, I wasn’t too happy with their epilogue. Even though they got their happy ending I think they deserved more. Kate went through so much losing his parents, not having a relationship with his sister to go through infertility.. given that on the book it said that Elliot got Enchanted because he wanted to raised his children There (I thought he wanted to have several) as well as his brother have and only having one child wasn’t the end I expected for them.
