The spritz has gained cult status due to its blend of citrusy notes that develop into sweet florals and deep musks. I recently did a side-by-side test of The Man Silver and the current version of Kouros, the version you find in store. Milton Lloyd / Perfumer's Choice falls into my "don't like", though it's better after waiting 10 minutes and even OK after waiting 30 minutes to an hour. If you’re on the market for a new perfume, but do not have a large budget to spend on a signature scent, you have to come to the right place.

The Chancellor Jeremy Hunt has today (Wednesday 22 November) announced a range of tax, benefits and savings measures. We round up the key announcements and what they mean for you. I won’t buy No. 5 today due to its being a shadow of itself but my chief memories of it stem from a bottle I had of the eau de toilette splash I was gifted in the early nineties which would have been a 1980s formulation. Vogue is definitely a very respectable clone for that version of No. 5 (in fact it is closer in spirit to the 80s version – today’s No. 5 is the one that smells like the poor quality dupe to me). We've all got a go-to fragrance or two, with many of us opting for one of the best perfumes of all time as a dressing table staple. But fragrance is a luxury and many popular scents carry a hefty price tag, so when it comes to getting a replacement you might be considering seeking out a more affordable option. It's not always easy, however, and finding the perfect perfume dupe can be a difficult job, as the difference between cheap and expensive perfumes isn't always obvious, and cheaper options aren't usually the best long-lasting perfumes. Most aerosol cans feel light when empty, this one is not. This is still heavy when empty. I thought this is a glass bottle but it isnt. I wonder why this fragrance category exists - body sprays as aerosols with propellants. There are some that I don't mind - designer luxury (Dior, Chanel), and designer cheapies (Capucci). I don't like Cuba (except Gold and Royal), Adidas, Axe, etc, aerosols though I like some of their normal spray fragrances and aftershaves. Aerosols seem never to help the fragrance, and sometimes they take away. They don't seem 100% neutral healthwise. Why do we bother? Because spray "deodorants" that were antiperspirants, morphed into spray deodorant/fragrances for the teen crowd, years ago? So we think this is a legitimate delivery form for fragrance? I think this is quite sophisticated acent, really well blended and it is exactly what I like, warm spicy and woody with a hint of sweetness. ML did such a good job here, there is not a moment I don't like in this perfume as it evolves. After 4 hours I can still smell it and I am sure it would last for a very very long time on clothes or hair. There are cheap perfume dupes on sale for the likes of Chanel, Jo Malone, Chloé, Dior, Marc Jacobs and more for a reason. You will not believe how similar these dupes can be, considering they smell very similar and cost much less. Everyone wants to smell nice, right? Do you choose perfume based on its fragrance, its quality or brand? We have selected a list of top ... NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) and Ulster Bank, which are all part of the NatWest Group, will now shut at least 172 of their bank branches in 2023 and 2024. sillage/projection/longevity go toe to toe, and everyone I wear it around loves it. and a hot take from me: I love the aerosol format. allows me to spray it on my coats efficiently and that saves me the trouble of spraying it on myself at times. very easy to overspray but I’m used to precision hairspray work so we’re good w that 🤭 Milton Lloyd No 9 Victor EDP opens with a moderate projection of sweet, fruity, pineapple, woody, and smoky accords. The opening, is fresh, inviting, common, versatile, and very pleasant. The citruses, fruity notes, oakmoss, and woods are the opening most noticeable notes. The citruses in this fragrance are evocative of bergamot, sharp, sour, and intense. The fruity accords are evocative of pineapple with a pinch of sweetness. The woods and oakmoss create an accord evocative of smoky birch. The oakmoss adds a forest-mossy accord that supports the woodsy notes. As the fragrance dries down, the initial citrus and fruity notes lose some of their initial projection, seating side by side with the woody notes. The musk and vanilla are just a soft touch supporting the featured notes. The fragrance has a small but noticeable change, the opening favors the intense citrus and fruity notes, however, as the fragrance moves to its dry down, these notes calm down while the woody and smoky notes fully develop. The initial moderate projection takes a small step down to low. Once Milton Lloyd No 9 Victor EDP has reached its full dry-down, it can be summarized as a moderate to low projection, woody, smoky, bergamot, and pineapple fragrance. The fragrance feels casual, common, diurnal, faint, fresh, fruity, gentle, inviting, masculine, moderate-quality, modern, mossy, short-lived, smoky, sour, sporty, slightly sweet, versatile, woody, and pleasant.

The Man Silver, on the other hand, gets closer to the original Kouros. From memory at least, I would say that The Man Silver manages to achive parity with the original Kouros. Perhaps a few notes are different, but it's very close. VERSATILITY: 10/10. Outstanding, this fragrance can be worn at any time of the year and on any occasion. Martin Lewis: What the Autumn Statement means for you – including wages, benefits, pensions, ISAs, housing, national insurance and more What really puts me off this is a long-lasting initial 'aquatic' component a la some very cheap aftershaves. Daisy by Marc Jacobs has established itself as a contemporary classic, competing with favorites from brands like Chanel and Jo Malone. But now, beauty company Avon has released a fragrance dupe that smells exactly like the original and costs only a quarter of the price.
