April and May this year have been great for scrap – we’ve had some lovely bits and pieces donated by companies and members of the public! Every little bit helps and we always welcome your donations. All we ask is for clean and interesting scrap and that is what you’ve all been giving us. Waterproof and non-waterproof materialBring your books along for adventurous story time, and make lots of Hungry Caterpillar goodies to take home and play with. As the course starts at 12:30 we are offering the use of the scrap store as a base for you to eat any sandwiches etc. that you might bring with you. We can also offer you a nice cup of tea and possibly a biscuit or two! We had a new supplier this month in B & Q Ltd (Barnstaple) who have donate a few cans of paint and some of their old flooring displays. These are all different textures and I’m very keen to see what members will get up to with them. Also this month we have had some lovely donations for material (different textures and types) and craft supplies from members of the public. Some of the material is sections of quilted fabric that would be ideal for a home project. We're covering all the bases this season with our collection of women's winter hats and gloves.
