Description

Firmware for the mouse and dongle was easy to update to the latest firmware so there is no noticeable lag.

from firmware bugs slowing down the mouse reaction time, or bugs destroying the polling rate,or the software not detecting the mouse anymore, Please charge your mouse for at least 2 hours before using for the first time to ensure optimal battery usage. The one thing I really miss from Logi is the scroll wheel. I used the side tilts a lot and I used the infinite scroll a lot. I thought I would miss scroll the most but I am actually finding that I miss the tilt more. However I can't find a comparable non-Logi mouse with these features in the first place so it's easier to feel complacent without them. Why don't other brands have infinite scroll? It's free real estate! The software doesn't seem to be the best, it's barebones like the EVGA software but it gets the job done for changing dpi.By now, I'm sure everyones heard about the issues about the MM731 with it's wireless mode being wonky and not only that but somehow Coolermaster managing to mess up the wired mode as well by introducing some motion delay. Wired mode on the MM731 was still very much playable for the two weeks that I was testing it and I guess my brain had just adjusted to it. But as soon as I got the MM730 in to compare side by side against the wired mode of the MM731, I could instantly feel what was wrong in-game. The movement on the MM731 sensor felt very rubber-bandy and slightly off whereas the MM730 feels flawless as a 3389 would. Coolermaster already has experience with the 3389 in the previous MM720 and MM710/MM711 mice so I'm glad they didn't manage to mess it up here. As for the MM731, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that they are implementing the 3370 for the first time... although it's still kind of mind boggling that not one of their "beta testers" were able to figure out there was an issue and notify them before releasing it. But who knows... maybe they did inform Coolermaster and they still couldn't get it right in time... The entire mouse has but one RGB LED zone, and that’s the Cooler Master emblem here on the rear side of the mouse. It’s not particularly bright and vibrant, which is somewhat of a bummer to an RGB enthusiast like yours truly, and I was also expecting Cooler Master to light up the Cooler Master MM731’s scroll wheel. Well, I guess this mouse is meant for the gamers where every gram matters, and more LEDs just doesn’t make sense in a design like this. Specifications Body material After the mouse FW is updated, it will show the following window to start the dongle FW update and update automatically.

Anyway this mouse is the lightest thing I've ever touched to the point that it almost makes it feel like a cheap piece of crap. I think it's the texture of the plastic that feels "cheap" to me, I have the exact same opinion about my gold PS4 controller. But the cheap feeling plastic makes it an absolute pleasure to use. I have a small hand (ie size XS-S in a brace) and for me it's the perfect size. I also love the flair on the right which is much more comfortable for me to rest my pinky on and improves on the main thing I disliked about the G604. I mostly palm grip and I do not usually play shooters. I really thought that I actually liked the weight of the G604 with 1 AA battery inside but I am preferring this mouse on almost all aspects. The weight is one of the best you can get with very few rivals in it's range they say it's like 48 grams which is about as light as mice get. The feet glide really nice. The cable is one of the best you can get and is super flexible, and The 3389 sensor is top of the line. lkv2 switches have the same shape as razer optical switches and are not soldered, if you are interested to switch them.only the left button has some post travel. So my hand size is 18 cm x 9 and I haven't loved ergonomic mice besides EC2-B. EC2B has a lot of flaws too which I won't get into.
