About this deal

Before handing the frame over to Francisco, she makes him swear that he will include a photo of the two of them. He agrees, but the frame has other plans for him. The photo of Sophia and him is replaced with another of the strange blonde woman in a different setting. Francisco has something to hide and is terrified that the woman in the photo is trying to communicate that she knows. This book is an essential read, not just for horror fans but for book readers in general. Mark my words, this book is going to shoot Aron into the stratosphere more than he already is. Holy s**t, this one starts with a brief introduction to the characters and then BAM, right into the gore and action! I won't look at my camera the same way again, thanks a lot Aron!

Aron just keeps improving with every book he releases, and this is no exception! You always know when you're reading a book by Aron, it just has that Aron feel to it! In the same way you know when you're reading a Stephen King! It's like coming home, a comfort! Authors, if you are a member of the Goodreads Author Program, you can edit information about your own books. Find out how in this guide. I have to wonder what motivates a writer. I admire the stretch of his imagination and where he take us as readers. He finds evil in everyday things, which I guess evil can be found anywhere we choose to place it. I’m excited to read about Mia’s journey, which is the next in the series. Wow, this book is a game changer for Aron Beauregard. I feel like it’s equally as important as his seminal release The Slob, if not a tad bit more so simply for the fact that it has had more “mainstream” success and appeal.

See a Problem?

This was awesome. My two favorite Horror Authors that are currently active are Kristopher Triana and Aron Beauregard. I usually love Kristopher's work because of how dark it is. Beautiful prose and just stark darkness. Aron's work I usually love because most of his output at this point is so comicly over the top with how gruesome the pictures that he paints are and how many taboos he chooses to break.

Get ready for one of Aron Beauregard's most squirm-worthy and heartbreaking tales. Includes five other stories of the macabre and an expanded personal essay, The Best and Worst Days of My Life, exploring the inspiration behind Wet Market and his viral success. World-renowned chef, Kason Anders, has a secret compulsion. Divulging in his obsession has brought him to the darkest corners of the globe. But redundancy can make even the most extraordinary experiences grow old. However, if the rumors prompting his return to Singapore are true, Kason's taste buds will never be bored again. A mysterious internet figure, known only as Mr. Boy, is preying on depressed teenagers and brainwashing them into horrific acts of self-harm and suicide. The macabre message behind "The Dropout Challenge" is simple: Drop out of sight. Drop out of school. Drop out of society. Drop out of life altogether. I’ve read and loved quite a bit of Aron’s work, and this series has made it clear that he just keeps getting better and better with each new release. This gave me the vibes of a sinister version of the podcast ‘The Antique Shop’ which I adore. That vibe kept going with the other 2 books in the series. This was a perfect start; it really grabbed my attention and made me need to know what was happening. Mia is almost like a sidelined MC. This story has pretty much nothing to do with her until the end – the first 4/5ths of the story follow completely different characters and then she comes in, to be followed into the next 2 installments. It’s kind of meta (is that what the kids are saying these days?). What do I mean by that? Well, it’s almost like holding a crystal ball and watching something play out that doesn’t actually involve you but does directly impact you.But he leaves out all of the humor that is usually present in his work. You also couldn't tell this story without making it excessively violent. But compared to some of his other Titles, the level of violence is restrained. And the prose that he uses shows how much he's grown as an Author over the last couple of years.
