Hero see's heroine and wants heroine. Purses her, but she's thinking it's not going to work as she's attracted to the hero but very aware of his reputation. I loved how she stood up for Willow and Sammy. She defended and protected them...she was their champion. It was so sweet and touching. This heroine was totally fierce as well as being caring and kind. I really adored Bree (my favorite scene in this book is 36% in, it is a doozy!!!!). Like good old OW or family drama. Someone trying to kill you or kidnap you. But no matter what the couple stays strong and together. They COMMUNICATE!! They trust each other. They might get upset for a hot minute, but then they stop and think and realize there are two sides to every story. H rating: 2 stars. Julian. I struggled with him. He was cold and I felt like he was only focused on the sex with the h and then he flipped the switch and was mushy sweet with her. And how he was with his friends -- I felt like he was a douche.

She has a spine and knows how to articulate her unhappiness with his asshole ways when he takes her to a dinner event, ignores her by talking to another woman, and, worse, pretends he's giving the nanny a thrill by taking her out. I will say at least I did finish it, even if there were significant lulls, and discordant scenes. As it was, I wasn’t sure what to feel, other than determined to finish it and see if it got better.Anyway the hero and heroine do make a go of it. Lot's of drama with her family opposing the hero, the friends with benefits drama, well you get the picture. And the sex scenes, it was too much for my liking. But if you like some smut, then this one is definitely for you. Mr., Mrs., Ms., and Miss are abbreviations of formal titles you place before the proper name of a person to show them respect. Abbreviations are shortened forms of words or phrases that are more recognizable and accepted in their redacted form compared to their original spelling.

Now that I have finished reading the book and am writing a reivew about it, I slowly realize that this is one of those books that makes you love it while reading it but when you are telling about it, it makes you wonder why or how you liked it. Weird, huh? Historically, the title Miss has been used as an honorific for unmarried women or young girls. While both of these cases are still true today, Miss is also used to refer to women when their marital status is unknown or unimportant.

When they unexpectedly met again at a blind date, Charlotte lied and told him she wasn't a virgin anymore. She did this in hopes that maybe he would like to be with her. Of course, Spencer was furious. He accused her of sleeping with her bodyguard. They completely fooled themselves. He was clueless. She was clueless. Julian Masters is a widow with two children. He is a judge and he is super rich. He has two close friends but except for them, he is a closed off man. He even doesn’t show much affection to his children. He cares about them but he doesn’t show love or affection.

If you think Mr Masters is a man who is still mourning after his beloved dead wife and doesn’t want to love and lose another woman again, then you ARE WRONG.The H and h enter into a no-strings relationship/friends with benefits/ etc because they are sooooo attracted to each other and the sex scenes begin. This was where the real drama came in. I liked how Spencer groveled. The pain and the regret when Charlotte left him was so tangible. I really felt it. The feeling that if he could just change the past, he would.
