The D750 has the same autofocus and metering technology as the D4S and the D810. Actually, it might be better because it's an even newer CAM 3500FX II AF module, and it's specified to work down to LV -3 while the others are only specified down to LV -2. The Nikon D750 is an ergonomically excellent, tank-like, photo-taking machine. It’s immediate, responsive, and just gets on with the job. If you still love the F-mount and an optical viewfinder, the Nikon D750 remains an outstanding choice.
The AF boxes are dark LCDs that are side-lit in red in the dark. It's not as good as transilluminated LED AF zones, but you have to step up to a D4S for that.AF is awesome, as expected. The D750 also has the AF-A mode that Nikon took out of the D810 which automatically selects AF-S (single) if the subject is still, or AF-C (continuous) if the subject it moving. I usually shoot in AF-A mode. These minor differences don't matter: a sharp, in-focus and unblurred photo at ISO 12,800 with the D750 is always going to be sharper than one with less depth of field or blurred from a same shot shot at a slower ISO if things are moving. If you need ISO 12,800, use it. It only flips up 135º or down 90.º It does not flip side to side, and you can't flip it 180º for self portraits. Can I charge Nikon battery with Canon charger? Chances are pretty good the terminals are not going to be compatible and it won’t fit in the charger properly to begin with. But, if you’ve already tried that and it fits, then you run the risk of the terminals not being oriented identically in both batteries. Is Nikon D850 good for astrophotography?
Insert the battery and plug the charger in (depending on the country or region, the charger comes with either an AC wall adapter or a power cable). Side ports - The USB connection has been upgraded to a Hi-Speed USB Type-C connection (SuperSpeed USB 3.1 Gen1) on the D780, and the connections on the side of the camera have been re-arranged for neater access - and should allow better cable management. The Nikon D750 uses a Nikon specific USB 2 connection. The Nikon D780 and D750 both have a mini-HDMI (Type C) connection for HDMI output.

Weight - The Nikon D780 weighs 840g with battery and memory card installed. The D780 weighs 755g body only, compared to 750g body only for the D750. screen - The screen is still a 3.2inch screen, but has an improved resolution of 2359K dots resolution, and is now a touch-screen. It still offers tilt, tilting up and down.
AF easily focuses in darkness, with any or all of the AF areas. Unlike the D610 which goes blind in dim light, the D750 sees in the dark just like the D810. ISO - The Nikon D780 offers an extended ISO range up to ISO204800 (Hi2), compared to the D750 maximum of ISO51200 (Hi2). While you may not want to, or need to, use these higher ISO speeds, it should mean there's been an improvement in noise performance, which may make ISO12800, or ISO25600 much more usable. The standard (non-extended) ISO range of the D750 is ISO100 to ISO12800, whereas the standard ISO range of the D780 is ISO100 to ISO51200.
