The Smart 5 5000 has a single power button on the front that activates the brush and changes the cleaning modes, while the Smart 6 6000 has a separate cleaning mode button and icons for the different modes on the front. However, the iO7 and above have magnetic 3-hour fast charging, which makes up for their battery life. But iOs 3 to 6 take between 12 and 16 hours to charge, which is not always very convenient. With only a couple of slight differences between these two models, the Pro 3 3000 is the more premium and expensive of the two. But it doesn’t make it the one to go for. Some Philips Sonicare models can last a full 3 weeks, but with just a few days usage between them, the large gap that once existed has been considerably reduced.
