USB RECHARGEABLE: Forget nagging mums and dads for batteries, simply place Owleez in the nest to easily charge their internal battery with the built-in USB cord. Plus you can keep playing together while it charges!

By far the best part of the Owleez product is when it flies and as it practices it gets better, flying for 10 seconds as a maximum. My eldest and I I tested this out on our own when her baby brother was sleeping and we were screaming and laughing, it was that much fun. I guess I didn’t know what to expect!! Owleez is a flying baby owl interactive toy with lights and sound effects for kids aged 6+, it is easy and funny to operate. It’s a new toy from Spin Master (a leading children’s entertainment company ), and it was first introduced at a Toy Fair 2019 in New York. It has ultimate features like a unique pet, interactive nurturing toy, and the magic of flight, but it needs the help of a child all the way. Owls are adorable aren’t they? Think Harry Potter and Owls definitely come to mind. My work mate is a little Owl obsessed and I remember going around Birmingham and searching for them one summer when the Owls came to town.I have to say Spinmaster have done it again with this Owleez flying Owl toy. This Owleez Interactive pet is absolutely brilliant and such good fun. I really didn’t know what to expect when I saw pictures of it but after reviewing the Luvabella and Luvabeua Interactive Doll and Hatchimal Hatchibabies, I knew we we would be impressed. It’s almost like a cross between an Owl and a helicopter. This Owleez toy review will give you an idea if will be the perfect gift for your little one this Christmas. There is also an instruction manual included with Owleez troubleshooting. I will talk more below about the issues when Owleez is refusing to fly! This can be pretty frustrating when you can’t get your Owleez to fly but there are some simple solutions. How to Make Owleez Fly

Kids start by practicing with their owl and swinging Owleez through the air over and over again. With enough practice, Owleez will be ready to fly. One of the best parts about Owleez that makes it unique as an interactive pet is that it can fail — and that’s OK. Baby owls don’t fly right out of the nest, so it encourages kids to keep training their pets until they can successfully fly. Having an owl as a pet just isn’t an option sadly, so we have opted for the next best thing, teaching our very own baby owl how to fly. Items that are not available in store will take 3-5 working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays) to be delivered to your nominated store. SOUNDS AND MOVEMENTS: With over 100 sounds and movements, as well as being able to show you their mood by changing eye colour!

When it’s flying, sometimes/very rarely it may crash while landing, but don’t worry it’s made up of strong material. While landing you can take it into your hands or can be landed on any surface. If the wings are still in flight then they can be closed when you touch the wings and the head will be closed automatically, never push the head down. Once it’s fully charged, it can fly 45 times. As I said earlier your Owleez toy doesn’t just fly, it is interactive and you can play with it too! It’s eyes change colour and you can see what they needs from you. There is this helpful crib sheet to help.Owleez is a cutie, we love how she has her own little personality that you can encourage to come out. The noises she makes are hilarious at times and so sweet. She is an adorable companion and once you learn how to cater to her needs, it makes the interactive element so much fun. My gremlin was a little more unsure at first, as she was worried it was going to break but her Owleez was fine and always survived its flight. I did worry, I must admit if we would break one of the propellers but we never seemed to. The instructions are also very comprehensive and help with troubleshooting! Just a tad difficult to find the English bit sometimes. Also be patient. When you have started to make it fly and it says “weeee”, just let it go. It needs a few seconds for those propellers to spin and make it fly!! Also give her plenty of space to fly!

I loved Owleez the flying Owl toy! I really didn’t expect such a small, light little toy to have so much power and start flying like a helicopter. I always find with Spinmaster toys, there is the WOW factor and you almost have an experience and not just a toy. This was no exception. Owleez needs your help to learn how to fly and in the box is the owl, some berries and a nest. Setting Owleez up Like many toys, the interactive side is brilliant, especially for kids who love to respond to a toy and to care and look after it. It does promote caring behaviour and imaginative play. Plus Owleez is very cute.Once Owleez is charged, you need to practice flying together by swinging and swooping the owl through the air, which results in it making triumphant and happy noises. We bought this for for my daughter and it turned out to be one of the big hits of our Christmas. She absolutely freaked out when she opened it. Then we all got to sit around and laugh at it trying to fly (and crash over and over and over). Simply plug it in and wait for its eyes to change from flashing red to green. Ours took around 15 minutes on the first charge, so not a long wait at all.

It's a little frightening when it it does its flying thing...it sits in its nest and its head raises up and the propellers start to rev up faster and faster. And then it takes off like a drone...but a drone that nobody has any control over. It does it's best to fly around a little...but even when given quite a bit of room...it'll end up crashing into a wall or a cupboard or even the floor. Supposedly it gets better with flying over time, but the directions state that even at its best it'll only fly for about 10 seconds. They're based in convenient locations including supermarkets, newsagents and train stations. Plus they're often open late and on Sundays. What we did find though is it does crash when it has finished. My eldest kept really worrying it was going to break but there were no issues. You mustn’t try and push the head down and place your Owleez on a flat surface. It will close alone. Then it is good to fly and again and with more practice gets better and better. Your Owleez will seem a bit sad after crashing and my eldest enjoyed patting and comforting it afterwards. When it comes to deciding on which of the toys and games that on the children’s wishlists will make it under the Christmas tree. I like to work out how interactive the toy will be, is it one that they will play with once or twice for it to lose its sparkle and end up on the shelf. Is it something that will help them learn through play (lessens the mum guilt of the kids playing with toys – instead of doing crafts, visiting museums and all that jazz). As well as it being something that they can all partake in. Whilst they do have their own toys, games and things, it is lovely to see them inter-mingle with their siblings once in a while. Owleez the Flying Baby Owl Interactive Toy from Spinmaster Owleez showcased outside for the purpose of photography, however, please note that Owleez should only be flown indoors

This toy is the first interactive toy pet with flying features, it is very different and funny to play. As I am saying that this is an indoor toy, children can play inside the home without any problem with more fun and entertainment. Along with these toys, some Dinosaur toys are also designed with robotic feature for real fun, entertainment She may not fly also because she is sad and she’s needs some confidence. Pat her head and comfort her. Ad-gifted: We received Owleez an interactive toy in exchange for this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own. As for the flight feature, while it is certainly impressive and something we've never seen before, my kids are actually a bit scared of it. They enjoyed "teaching" him to fly and wanted to try it several times for him to get better but each time it actually took off, my kids got nervous about how to catch or guide it. My 7 year old said it seemed like a drone. It can also be a little challenging to find a space in your house for it to fly. So far it hasn't crashed into anything except the floor and it is very lightweight but I worry about it hitting the TV or a lamp. The instructions say that it does get better at flying with more practice so maybe we will figure that out more as we continue to play with it.
